Reviewed By Nina CWe were there in this topclass , the most friedly hotel only 2 memorable days ( my mother 80 year, me and my 3 adult children ). In Bornholm there is a lot to see and experience. Like the gem of all islands! This hotel was a perfect place to visit all sites and I could not think any more genuine and enjoyable environment to stay ♡ I hope to come again soon !

Relatively good service, even if the tidying of rooms each day for some reason never involved switching the bath room towel mat (to be put on the floor after taking a shower or so). The hotel room had a wall-to/wall carpet that isn’t easy to clean. One of our two rooms was very moist and there seemed to be problems with moulds in the building. Caution if you are allergic to dust or have asthma.

Melsted Badehotel is a first class beach hotel on the idyllic Melsted Beach next to Gudhjem. The hotel is being renovated until May 1 2022 and will be offering first class rooms with private balconies and ocean view.
Melsted - The charmer
Reviewed By Anna BCharming and authentic luxury right on the beach. Sitting in the terrace White listening to The Ocean just a fee meters away is The perfekt location. Bornholm is a little charmer and Melsted fits right in. The rooms are big and comfortable and the food both local and tasty. I will be back as soon as possible

Hotel Klippen is an old historical Hotel located in the old danish fishing village Gudhjem on the island of Bornholm, right next to the old harbour, on top of the cliffs. From our terrace, you can enjoy the stunning view of the Baltic Sea and our beautiful town of Gudhjem. If you are staying with us, you can't miss the view from most of our rooms and from our romantic Restaurant Klippen. The restaurant serves a nice breakfast with local organic produce and a really good cup of tea or coffee. From noon you can enjoy the Neapolitan Gourmet pizzas from MA Teo, that excels in the old Italian traditions and use ingredients from local producers. The hotel is on a cliff and is not suited for kids or people that are gait impaired.

Reviewed By T1057WUthomaskThe rooms we got were fantastic for our needs: private entrance out to a big terrace with an uninterrupted view of the Baltic and Christians ø in the distance. The location is incredible; below the hotel, there is a nature area along the coast with a path leading down to the harbor and a walk along the cliffs. It is stunning and a fun place for our daughter to play. The breakfast was excellent and felt luxurious, although the selection of things to eat was not that large, so maybe it does not fit everyone. On the other hand, I would expect you could ask to get something else the next they if you do not like what you get since they prepared a separate breakfast tray for each group of guests. (Maybe that's different in the height of the season: we visited in the first half of May and there were very few guests.) One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is not staffed except at breakfast, so there is no reception where you can ask questions. (Maybe that's different in the primary season.)

Pyttegaarden is a small privately owned holiday centre with countryside location and splendid seaviews set on the beautiful cliffs of Bornholm just 300 m from the coastline. Here is lots of space inside as well as outside. The atmosphere is old world charm but with all the contemporary amenities. The 10 holiday apartments of Pyttegaarden varies from 42 m2 with a single bedroom to 94 m2 with 3 bedrooms, suitable for 2 to 6 people. Each apartment has its own terrace, balcony or garden with garden furniture and seaviews. The apartments have fully equipped kitchens, bathroom with shower and large sitting rooms. On Pyttegaardens 17.000 m2 large property there is lots of room for play with trampoline, football and basketball, sea-saw and play tower with swings or quiet relaxation in more private areas. In the evening, it is possible to help feed Pyttegaardens two friendly sheep. There are also lots of fruit trees, berry bushes and herb free to pick as guest at Pyttegaarden.
Wonderful place to stay
Reviewed By jdmagnusonDuring our three nights on Bornholm we stayed in a two-floor holiday apartment that had a sea-view and terrace/garden. It was very quiet and peaceful. The facilities were excellent - we loved being able to buy and cook our own food. We also liked being able to do our laundry. The location was perfect - centrally located on the east coast, just south of Gudhjem. It was very easy to drive and explore the island, and also to drive across the middle of the island when it came time to catch the ferry back to Copenhagen. We would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we visit Bornholm.

Reviewed By henrikm921Hyggelig lille camping plads, med god ro. Der er en lille hyggelig cafe hvor der bla. kan købes: god kaffe, is, samt bestilles morgenbrød. Plads samt faciliteter er pænt og rent. Kort gå afstand til en lille sandstrand med få gæster. Kun telte på pladsen, og et lille område til autocampere. Det er muligt at ankomme i bil. Kommer gerne igen.

Andi and his staff makes you feel welcome in any way - the rooms are clean and very cozy - and very charming. If you are looking for a personal getaway and enjoy old school service with a smile and a hotel which serves a delicious and full breakfast in superior surroundings, with a small rock garden and even sea views from your balcony, don’t miss this place. Some have written “run down” - but the correct terms are historic, well preserved and just all in all, as good as it gets when you stay in buildings more than a hundred years old. We want to come back to this little and wonderful retreat located just a hundred meters off the coast and harbour of Gudhjem - many thanks for a wonderful experience!

Et stille og roligt sted med 3 venlige heste i baghaven og 3 søde hunde. Sanne der ejer stedet er meget venlig, hjælpsom og omsorgsfuld. Spørg endelig hvis der er et problem. Vi havde 4 dejlige dage her. Kan varmt anbefales til feriegæster der holder af landlige lugte og omgivelser. Tusind tak Sanne, for 4 dejlige dag?

Quietand relaxing
Reviewed By Judy TSpent 8 days here so centrally located for shops and sights around the whole Island. We had great people in the office who were only too glad to answer any queries we had about anything the island, and were able to guide us around with suggestions, Any problems were quickly sorted. We could walk into town, or cater for ourselves.
