We stopped on the way home, and young lady at the desk was super nice! As they had a room and it was clean, quiet, bed was comfy! Decent price, breakfast was pretty good, easy to get in and out of, close to the expressway but no noise! We stayed on the 2nd floor backside, would stay here again.

Hotel manager has no integrity… Reached out to him for resolution of a simple problem and was completely ignored. I won’t be staying here in the future. The facility is very nice and modern. I will go back to Holiday Inn…

Clean, comfortable, quiet, and right in town! Will stay here again! There were several hotels in that area but I was definitely not disappointed. They may have been cheaper then all the rest but they didn't skimp on quality. Husband went down to the bar for a few and we was very pleased there as well.

Honestly, I didnt have any high expectations. Just wanted a place to stay near HIgh Street and have parking. First impression while booking was amazing. Paula was very helpful and listening to us ( we were two couples), she recommended specific two rooms and I went with it. Check in Day - she sent me a text with the codes to the hotel and the rooms. The Rooms: We had both rooms on the first floor and it was ideal. We had the room facing the street. Large windows, bright. You could smell the clean in the room/bathroom. Fluffy towels. Soft sheets. Compfortable pillows. Mattress was a bit hard but no issues there. There was a small area with a fridge, bottled water, and coffee. The other room had a huge bathroom. Absolutely loved our space. Parking was never an issue. The main street was one block away. The Asylum, right next door, has amazing drinks. This is a Hidden Gem indeed.

My husband and I had the pleasure to discover this wonderful B&B during our 1-night stay in Anderson, WV. The house is clean, very well-maintained and preserved. The decor is filled with warmth and country charm. Doris, the innkeeper, is amazing and super helpful! We enjoyed the nutritious customized breakfast as we discovered the history of this historic home. The Blue Room is very spacious and cozy. We will definitely return to stay here the next time we decide to visit WV. It is a truly memorable stay for us; we highly recommend the Old Victorian Inn located in the quaint town of Alderson to anyone!!

We booked this room through Priceline- never again. The place was being renovated, the parking lot full of pot holes and windows that had been removed. We had pre paid, but when we asked to see the rooms, the attendant on duty refused to let us see them until we provided a credit card. The rooms were terrible and smelly . Two of the people I was traveling with have asthma and there was no way we could stay there with the moldy smell. The desk clerk pretty much told us "tough luck". We went else where and I will be filing a complaint with Choice Hotels, in an attempt to get a refund. This hotel needs to be dropped from any offerings. It is a dump.
