They have a pool that is only for adults..which is fine but this was not mentioned online nor was it mentioned at check in. Could not go in pool with my 16 yr old bc he was not old enough to go on the one side. They told him he had to go with little kids. Had I known this, probably would not have booked! Couldn’t even enjoy my time!

Love Hampton Inns because they are always clean and yummy breakfast. One night was $231 with taxes. My only complaint was how expensive it was. Yes, it was a holiday weekend. Glad we only had to pay for one night!!

We spent two nights here--easy check in and our room was comfortable. Expected to be able to get a drink or even a meal in the onsite Bistro, but bartenders were unfortunately inexperienced in making a simple drink such as gin and tonic. The menu was light bar food, not a dinner menu as advertised. Breakfast is buffet style and was good--about your average free breakfast buffet, although this is not included. I suspect this place, like many, has issues with staffing etc. due to COVID. We did like that it was convenient to Williamsburg and Jamestown and was easy to access.

In the area for an couples trip. Booked a 3 night stay based on TripAdvisor reviews & a very reasonable price. We were pleasantly surprised how clean & well kept the facility was & were very pleased with the room. The staff was friendly & welcoming. Breakfast was enjoyable & consistent each morning. Would not hesitate to recommend to family & friends. I believe the recent bad reviews posted are for another location just down the street.

Avoid this hotel. The first room that was assigned to me was right next to the elevator shaft. It is a mystery why a room would be placed here. Needless to say my family was treated to the noise of an elevator every few minutes. To their credit, the hotel allowed me to change rooms. It wasn’t any better. The walls are paper thin and my family was entertained all night by the rowdy group next door. No one next door slept and neither did we. The free breakfast is standard stuff. Huge line to make waffles, mediocre hot food, minimal cereal and fruit selection. Bagels ran out & I waited 15 minutes for more to be brought out & finally gave up. Don’t stay here. You’ll regret it.

On 06/02/22 myself, 2 toddlers and dogs arrived at La Quinta Williamsburg around 10pm. The room on the third floor we were given was such a safety and health hazard. On top of that the state of disrepair was absolutely disgusting. I am in shock that the establishment would even consider this room safe for guests. We were changed to a different room after addressing the concerns with the front desk. The second room on the first floor was equally as dirty and in disrepair as well. The safety hazards were far less but the room was still not acceptable. The first room had a hole in the wall and pieces of wall all over the floor, blood in the sink, blood on the walls, urine in the entry way, trash all around the beds, broken glass around the night stand, pill on the floor, dirty toilet tissue in the ac system and a smell that was nauseating. The second room was full of dust a thick layer, drywall dust and paint all over the carpeting, a light socket hanging out of the wall, a hole in the bathroom wall still visible for a recent still tacky repair, the entry was way sticky. We would not have stayed if we had the ability to go home. Lightening struck a tree by our house with last nights storm and took out multiple power poles with downed live wires. Not only was it almost 90° outside but we had no power to our entire neighborhood. Fast forward to this morning, while we were packing up our vehicle there was a gentleman walking up the driveway along the right side of the hotel. This man appeared to be an employee of the establishment. He was holding a paint can of potatoes and a gardening spade. The parking lot was almost entirely empty and he was staring at my 4 year old daughter and walked so close to her that he brushed up against her. This made my husband and I incredibly uncomfortable and uneasy as he made eye contact with us the entire time. He didn’t seem to be bothered that both of us were trying to shield her from him.
