I truly enjoyed my time here. Everyone was very nice. The room was nice and big and very cool whe we checked in. The room had everything we needed. The pool unfortunately had no heater, but the breakfast more than made up for it. The breakfast was beyond awesome. Everything was delicious from the eggs to the biscuits and gravy to the French toast. The milk was ice cold!!!

There are always a few annoying things in a hotel such as a toilet sticking and the A/C units that either stay too hot set to 68 or freeze you when set at 66 or a shower door installed upside down, running out of coffee (all these are true of the rooms we had) but the biggest gripe here was the rudeness of the young lady that was providing the hot breakfast on the morning of June 4th but she wasn’t wearing a name tag and I know why. I did go to the front to ask her name but I don’t want to post it here. Let’s just say my wife asked a simple question and the rudeness of the response was amazingly bad. I was getting food and she practically shoved me aside to refill the waffle batter. She kept the items on the breakfast supplied but does not qualify as hospitality. She should be somewhere not providing service. Probably washing laundry would be more appropriate for her demeanor.

If I could give this hotel a zero (0) or a negative I would. 1st room - 216 it was so gross. One of the beds had a burn mark on the bed spread and probably boogers on the top sheet. The bathroom says it all. Just look at pictures.. behind the toilet was old pee probably from a month ago or more. Who knows how long it was there! And it looked like an old booger was next to the cups on the counter in the bathroom. if you look in the bathtub it looks like a hole was patched. We left that room! The lady at the front desk was amazing and she got us new rooms. Two rooms because we had a room with two queen beds before. 2nd room 319- was better. However it had the worst smell in the world. It kind of smelled like a rat died in it. So that morning I had to go down to the front desk and tell them it smelled bad. I didn't go down the night before because it took Pam who was working the front desk 2 plus hours to get us the two new rooms. I was tired and just wanted to go to bed. After talking with the day time lady at the front desk and the maintenance man, I guess someone before me stayed in that room for a month with three big dogs, who peed all over the floor and destroyed it. The smell of pee is so bad, you need to remove all the carpet, wash the floors and start all over again. I got up at 7am and I was out of that room at 7:30 just as gross as the first room! When I was downstairs talking to the front desk lady and the maintenance man, he came up with me around 8am and looked for a dead rat. He pulled everything away from the walls and look. he even moved the bed and looked under it. no rat thank goodness. but the smell of pee was gross. 3rd room - 323 was better. But the bathroom door won't close all the way and someone before us left a beer in the freezer. The pool smelled horrible. None of the lights worked overhead so it was dark in there! Breakfast has waffles, cereal (but based on the motel upkeep who knows how old it was) and some old looking muffins I have never heard of. No apple, banana. Coffee was okay, but didn't even have any coffee creamers. We didn't eat. We left and had to buy breakfast in a different town. All in all, the night time lady, who worked the front desk, was nice and helpful. She moved us into our new rooms which were 10% better than room 216. The rooms and the motel are gross and old. Even the carpet in the elevator needs to be vacuumed. It needs to be torn down and they need to start over! When I left I asked the lady at the front desk at 8am to have Chuck the manager on duty to call me. He didn't call yesterday. So I tried calling around 4pm and he went out looking for a computer toner. (Walmart is across the street, he should have called me at 10am or after he got back), So I asked if he could call me this morning when he got in. So at 1:20pm I called again to see if I could talk to Chuck. He was out again and at lunch. I guess Chuck doesn't work. He only runs errors.

Was in town for meetings and my co-worker suggest we stay at this hotel. I’ve stayed at several hotels in what I consider small towns. I call this a small town with a small regional airport! First, I had put on my hotel reservation in the comments requesting airport shuttle pickup. Unfortunately, apparently the hotel did not get that message, but when I called when I arrived at the airport for a shuttle, they asked the driver to turn around and come back and pick me up as he had just left the airport when I got my baggage. Secondly, the service and food at the restaurant was excellent! Great service! The only downside I had of the hotel, is that the hotel room was dated. The bathtub is definitely in need of replacing. Bathroom in the room is also very small. But, they were great getting me back to the airport when I departed 2 mornings later! Will definitely stay at this hotel again when I’m back in town!

We wanted to take a family vacation for our first time at a hotel with a indoor water park. Wolf lodge’s water park was considered to big since we have a 3 and 5 year old. The room had food on the floor. The pillows and bed did not provide a pleasant night sleep. Had back pain in the morning and with 5 pillows still got little comfort, they had no substance. The bunk beds booked for my toddlers were not safe! The bed rail on the top bunk was about the height of the mattress. I would have been concerned sleeping on it myself! In the elevator lobby a drink sat on the decorative table for the 3 days. We found out after arriving that the pool was not included in our stay! I booked over the phone Abe had spoke with a “reservationist.” They we’re more interested in me purchasing time shares in the company rather than the details of this vacation! I was directed to a time share agent after booking our stay. There was no security by the pool entrance and anyone could come or go since the door lock didn’t work. When we had issues before arriving over the course of 2-3 hours no one answered the phone at the check in desk. Reservations was unwilling to help us with the cost of canceling our first night stay even though our daughter was sick and throwing up. Was livid to learn that the pool wasn’t included in the stay, was the entire point of booking the location! The eggs and sausage tasted horrible! My son fell bad enough at the pool that he had to be taken to the hospital; not one staff member asked if he was ok. No one acknowledged us or inquired if we were ok!

We spent one night after a 13 hour drive. Room 304 was as clean as I'm used to at Comfort Suites. The wall and carpet had stains and the hallway looked dirty. Lots of water in the elevator from kids getting out of the pool. The shower didn't drain well and there was standing water. The AC never got very cold and the curtains hung down and blocked any air coming out. Couldn't leave curtains open because of outside light. Ice machine on our floor was broken. No washcloths in room but clerk got us more. On the positive side, the clerk was very friendly and got us checked in quickly, the wifi was very fast and breakfast was good. Room was quiet overnight. We appreciated the special parking spot for Gold/Platinum members. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews but not sure if we'll stay here again.

First let me say that I stayed here both outbound and inbound on this trip. This has become one of my go to places to spend the night on the way from NC to CO. Plenty of parking for a pickup and trailer. Desk clerk was very nice both stays. Check in was easy. Check out was easier (receipt slipped under the room door). Room was clean, towels and sheets were not worn out. Bed slept very well. Now the not so good: While they do offer breakfast,it is mostly high carb cereal, breads, waffles, etc. Not good if you have to watch carbs due to diabetes. Some kind of protein would be appreciated although they may have had hard boiled eggs.

Unlike my past 4 stays in 2021 at this hotel, the check in woman refused to acknowledge my ESA and status as ADA, then charged a fee of $121 for the dog. The entire transaction was hostile and caused us a great deal of stress. Which in turn created a non safe environment. Call first if you have an ESA card for your pet and suffer as I do from extreme anxiety. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again in Garden City, KS. In addition, I did call my Wichita Hotel and they were infuriated that another TPS would charge when they nor any other TPS will charge.
