The new name of this hotel is Garrigae Cap Coz. Hotel location is great. Staff is very nice. They were very quick to respond to my needs when I showed up at reception one morning asking for bedsheets change because some insect had bitten me BIG TIME... hotel admits dogs which is ok as long as they are extra vigilant with cleaning... unfortunately I don’t think It is the case here.

We spent five nights at this friendly hotel and were very pleased with our choice. The hotel is family owned and everyone went out of their way to make our stay one to remember. We had a sea view room which was a little dated but very clean and comfortable with everything that we required during our stay. As is frequently the case in the majority of French hotels there was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but a minor negative point. The hotel is in a great position only yards from the beach (Cap Coz see separate review) with safe swimming. There is a large free car park to the rear and a very pleasant garden with a relaxing decking area with outdoor furniture perfect for relaxing. You can phone the bar from here to order drinks. There is an outdoor jacuzzi adjacent to the decking although we didn't get a chance to use it because of the weather. The highlight of our stay was the food served in the restaurant with lovely views over the bay. We had elected for half board (recommended) and the variety and quality of the dishes was in our experience of the highest quality. Compliments to the chef for their imaginative and varied menus.Add to all this the friendliness and professionalism of the waiting staff members and it all added up to a very enjoyable five days. Finally if your French is a bit rusty all the staff we encountered spoke very good English.

Attended this hotel for dinner with my wife on a sample dinner scheme. Have to say the food was superb, the duck was cooked to perfection and the sauce was to die for. The warm chocolate desert was simply delicious. Chef Jason also took time to come out of the kitchen to speak with us and we felt welcome. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

L'Oree du Bois located in the heart of Fouesnant, in South Brittany, is closed to the sea, 3 minutes away from Cap Coz beach. The hotel has been entirely refurbished and offers comfortable bedrooms with Internet wireless access. A few bedrooms do have a magnificient view over the sea. A cosy lounge and a shadowed garden are at your disposal for your detente. You can also put bicycles and golf equipment in a locked room.
When I booked a room at this hotel, it was within the same 'Chamber Standard' class, but this room (#2) was quite smaller than the others in the same class 'Chamber Standard', and paid the same for this small room and they wouldn't accept our proposal to move us into a larger accommodation. The door barely was able to swing into the room, that's how small it was and doesn't have photos of this room on the web site and I thought I would be getting one of the others, as shown on the web site, which I would have been very happy with any of the others. This room was meant for only one person (even if it has a larger bed for two, which took up almost the entire room). For that reason we didn't hang around the hotel nor use their breakfast services. We also had to go downstairs to the lobby to use the WiFi to get a solid signal. Other than that the place was located perfectly for what we needed, the bathroom down the hall was always clean and available for our showering, and the owner was super nice and spoke good english.

To eat there twice in 5 days says it all. We came 4 years ago and it is just as good now as it was then. We were warmly welcomed by the Rousseaus but disappointed that they were unable to get the langoustines that we longed for. They get their fish absolutely fresh and sometimes it happens that the catch is not large enough. We did however enjoy what we ate and unhesitatingly recommend it.

Booked as a much needed quiet getaway. Apartment was suberb, free wifi, TV and lovely views of the pool - we also got glimpses of the sea and the various boats sailing by. Pool is cold and not huge but it serves the purpose. Rights in the middle of the bars and restaurants and literally a stones throw from the lovely beach. 10 days was not long enough and cant wait to return!!

We booked one of the mobile homes, number 107, for a week. It was very clean and looked brand new. This campsite is situated a 5 minutes walk from the beach and the surroundings offered many walking routes. Some minor points are that the shop offers only a very few things and the bar has schedule when it sells pizza or other snacks. The swimming pool actually shows very quick for who this campsite is meant: families with small children. Although our oldest son, aged 11, had a good time there I would choose a campsite the next time which is meant for older children. The playground is nice, there are a few trampolines, an aircastle, swings and a pingpong table. The personel of the site is very friendly and they speak English well enough to help you with your questions. For shopping I suggest you should go to Quimper or Port l'Abbee. Groceries are expensive in this area, I found E Leclerc in Concarneau the cheapest. It's a bit longer drive, but you'll save money! And there is a nice small castle (Keriolet) very nearby. Admission 17,- for a family of four! Just outside the camping, 500 meters walk, at the left hand side at the intersection there is a small coffee-tea house called 'L'Ecole de Chefs'. It's really a must see! They sell wonderful products! So overall, the campsite is clean and tidy. Mobile home has 3 beds for children, looked very clean and new. Enough things to play and do around in the area. Personel friendly, spacious caravan spots (car can be parked next to mobile home or caravan), I'd say a 4-star. But remember, it's for families with smaller children!

Small hotel overlooking the sea at the tip of Mousterlin on the common Fouesnant. Logis offers comfortable rooms with private bath, TV, WiFi, kitchentte... The Logis is open all year.
This is a super spot with great views. The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly, and you should really stay for dinner. We had a great evening chatting to various other travellers, and enjoyed an excellent meal.
