El Castro is an old country house, restored in 2007 with stone, slate and wood. Located in the west of Asturias, in a valey at only 7 km. From the beach. With 7 double rooms (one of them adapted to weelchair)completly provided with heating, TV and ensuit bathrooms with hairdreser and amenities. Dining room to breakfast buffet and bar service. Living room with fireplace, library and Tv area. Mountain bikes free for costumes use. Mini spa with jacuzzi and hydro sauna cabin. Free parking. Free WIFI. Pets are alowed.

Reviewed By Viajera51El Castro is a beautifully renovated country home with lovely views and pleasant grounds. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, and the views of the surrounding countryside lovely. Breakfast was great--many homemade pastries!

Owner kindly upgraded me to a superior room with a nice jacuzzi tub, perfect for weary pilgrim legs. No breakfast available at the time I was there in June, but a vending machine with coffee & snacks on premises. Overall a great stay

Beautiful, tranquil, friendly, spotless.
Reviewed By Ann LA jewel of a place to stay. The owners were very friendly and spoke good English, but we were able to have longer conversations with the help of Google Translate! Brilliant. This is their first summer there, after the site has been closed for ten years. The toilets & showers were spotless and the site itself was well cared for. It was very peaceful & quiet. We hope to return when we are next in that lovely area of Spain. Many thanks. Ann & Bryan.

Beautiful, comfortable apartment in rural setting, sea view
Reviewed By taolxdWe rented a two bedroom, two storey apartment with living/ dining/ kitchen and patio. Kitchen even has an oven, which we used well. From the apartment we overlooked corn fields and could see the sea, which is an easy walk and very beautiful- a rocky coast with some tide-sensitive sandy beaches. The hotel provides a tide chart to help you plan your visits. I noticed our neighbours had wetsuits and boogie boards- so I assume some areas have waves (we saw gentle waves). The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. There is an excellent supermarket to the west about 4km, and lots of nice walks and drives in the area. There is free wifi, but it is really slow. And best to bring a mosquito/ fly zapper. Lovely place, happy to return.

Las expectativas q geniamos depositadas en Casa Gayol eran muchas pero no se cumplieron todas. Alquilamos las dos plantas la casa es espaciosa y con un jardin ideal, pero a dia de hoy necesita muchos trabajos de mantenimiento y renovacion. La calidad ezta en los detalles y sevicios. Lo q prometia por fuera se tornó en decepcion por denttro. Seguiremos yendo de casa rural pq Asturias tiene una gran oferta

Reviewed By GusviajecomLa estancia de la familia en este apartamento ha sido muy buena, el apartamento con 3 habitaciones, todo en perfecto condiciones, muy limpio y con lo necesario, Yeny nos atendio a todos en toda la estancia de maravilla,muy recomendable, también la ubicación está cerca de la autovía 5 min. Para moverse sin dificultad, hemos salido encantados, de lo mejor de donde nos hemos alojado en años, gracias por todo.
