First time staying here! Arrived at 3pm went into reception to check in. Previously they had sent an email to complete to check in but I prefer to check in at reception however this was not an option as the girl on reception made us stand there & do our own check in online ? Strange I thought ! By this time is was now 3.15pm and our room was not ready! No apology just a mumble that they were running late ! We said we would go into bar and get a coffee whilst waiting - girl said they would come & get us when room was ready. By 4 pm I was starting to get a bit narked so went back to reception & another receptionist had a look & our room was ready - pity they hadn’t let us know as agreed ! By this time I was a bit disappointed with the hotel and lack of communication. They did however pick up the tab for the coffee. Room was nice & clean - bed was very very comfy ❤️ Leisure was outside hotel but very nice & the jacuzzi was amazing. Dinner was very nice & service was very good. Breakfast was not so well organised although the food was delicious it was let down by the waitress - who forgot the butter & hot water we asked for ! The toast & tea were stone cold by that time ! When we asked again for it - no apology. Just wee things I know but I like my tea & toast hot ! Overall it was the small things that let it down - I would definitely go back & hopefully next time the room will be ready !!

In a delightfully elevated position in the ancient capital of Dunfermline - Garvock House sits proudly in over 2 acres of gardens, a glorious testimony to its hey day as a stunning family house. Truly 'the country house hotel in town.' Family owned and run, Garvock House has been transformed into a delightful hotel retaining an authentic and rather special country house charm and informality: relaxing and elegant with classic interiors, very comfortable furnishings and spacious rooms. And a passion for fresh produce which remains undimmed. Dunfermline hotels just don't come better than this.
Absolutely lovely! Hotel was very clean and so many nice little touches in the hotel. Staff very friendly, helpful and professional. There was a wedding on when I arrived but staff were very attentive to get me checked in without disturbing the wedding photos. Really enjoyed my stay and would recommend to anyone!

You don't have to go far to be entertained at Premier Inn Hotel Dunfermline. We're at the heart of a leisure park, with fantastic entertainment for all the family including a cinema, bowling alley and crazy golf. There are plenty of tourist attractions and business venues nearby too. If you're here in the summer, T in the Park is just up the road. Or make a beeline for Carnegie Hall to see a great show. Have fun driving from A to B at Knockhill Racing Circuit. Or simply stroll through Dunfermline and see the A-listed buildings. Then come back to the hotel for great food in our Brewers Fayre restaurant, and a lovely comfy bed.
All staff are very friendly, Vicki who was on reception went above and beyond to accommodate us with 2 rooms next to each other, all last minute due to our daughters flight being cancelled, thank you so much for all that you’ve done, we really appreciate it. Great location too with an added bonus of Dobbies Garden centre a walk away. Will definitely return

We stayed for one night. The room was lovely and trendy, shower was amazing. Check in was slow and we had to hunt someone down to see to us. Easy access to centre shops and bars. No parking due to location however there is a local car park close by.

We stayed a Friday and Saturday in May, it’s best to avoid these nights if you want a decent sleep. The room is basic with a noisy bathroom saniflo and even when that’s not in use you can still hear the neighbours saniflo and extract fan. Saturday night is karaoke night and thumping music on until midnight, then there’s the noise of customers leaving the bar for a while after that. On checking out on the Sunday morning the lady at reception stated that we should have known about the noise from the bar as it’s stated in large print on the booking confirmation. This is NOT TRUE, there’s no reference to bar noise or Karaoke at all on any of the booking confirmation emails. She is probably the rudest person I’ve ever encountered in any hotel even questioning several times if I had contacted reception the night before which I had when i enquired how late the music would be blaring until. There was no apology from her so we left without breakfast to get home for some sleep before work. Maybe she didn’t get much sleep either!! There has been no reply to the two emails I sent over two weeks ago stating that we were misled when we booked the room. If we’d known there was loud karaoke noise from the bar we wouldn’t have booked to stay a Saturday. I won’t be back at this hotel again and would recommend that anyone who wants a decent nights sleep should avoid it.

Stayed here for work in November December 3 or 4 times. A great Scottish friendly customer service culture. I think this is what hospitality is all about being hospitable. It’s near a couple of retail parks great for shops and restaurants and due to motorways is a great base for Edinburgh. What is also great is to take in the fantastic view of the bridges when crossing the fifth. But bear in mind it’s a motorway. All the staff extremely friendly and have a can do culture. Even spent half an hour chatting to the manager whilst enjoying a beer after work. Highly recommended. Only comment would be re ihg improving hot breakfast offering. Although breakfast was more than adequate and great to be able to grab a to go coffe and a roll when in a rush

Spotlessly clean. Comfy bed. Great WiFi connection. Fab breakfast. Fridge in room ( mega handy). Excellent hosts, Colin and Suzanne go the extra mile. I feel like I have known them all my life. Have stayed on 4 separate occasions in last month. Can’t fault the place at all. Great value for money. Highly recommended by myself.

Rooms at 29 Bruce Street is a boutique 17 bedroom hotel and entertainment complex. The Hotel offers affordable luxury and first class entertainment situated in the city centre of Dunfermline. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, satellite tv, dvd players and high speed internet access. With adjoining nightclub and Scottish-fayre restaurant we believe we offer something to suit all tastes.
Without a doubt the best afternoon tea I've had. Beautiful selection of fresh sandwiches and wraps packed with tasty filings that weren't run of the mill. Smoked cheese and ham, feta and beetroot, chicken breast in garlic mayo. Moving on to the not so savoury.. The chocolate torte and scones were amazing as was the bramble cheesecake shot and the caramel and banana waffle! I will be back for more !!
