It's a nice small hotel close to the centre of Douai. Parking is easy/no extra costs, possibility to eat in the hotel (simple food served in the lounge). The people who work there are very sympathetic and helpful.

Hotel
Big free parking nearby. Walking distance to city center. Friendly staff. Room was ok, no more no less. Same for breakfast. Don't expect a big buffet with eggs and sausages, but there were croissants, bread, corn flakes, yoghurt... everything you need. Would recommend for few days, not if you need luxury.

The building and facilities were good. The staff were excellent. The bar was open but dinner was down to two choices; Chicken or beef. The breakfast was fine, though not up to the usual Styles standards. Difficult times! Apparently only the smaller rooms on the top floor are airconditioned. We had a hot night on the first floor. We were offered a move but having unpacked and being tired, we declined. I wish we had!

The terrasse is a four star hotel , with 17 rooms of quality. It is situated in city center of Douai.
Be careful: La Terrasse has been sold in late 2020. This is NOT Emile Haniques great cuisine anymore. Food is awful as is the rest of the location. The butter we got in the restaurant had been used before, staff doesn't even look at you. Doesn't know what you ordered despite taking notes of the order. Everything takes forever. In the room everything is very dirty, hair in the bathroom in several places. One of the windows falls out if you try to open it, the other can be opened from the outside. Just look at the images. What a mess.

We stayed here one night due to a problem with our car and had a great night. The rooms are clean, comfortable and bathrooms of a high quality. Our hosts were so helpful with local recommendations and breakfast was superb. Amazing value for money too. Highly recommended.

Two nights in Les Foulons for a road-weary couple like us in pure comfort, warmth and relaxation was so heart warming it felt as though being soaked in a warm bath. We had decided to hit the road a day before New Year’s Eve to get as close to home as possible after a 5-day road trip to and around Italy, and we needed a place for the night somewhere near Calais or Dunkerque. That is how we discovered Les Foulon and it turned out to be the ideal resting place for us smack in the middle of Douai, in the north of France. Both the town and the B&B were very peaceful and quiet both night we spent there (including New Year’s Eve), and we got to meet the most wonderful hosts any road traveller could ever ask for. Bernard and Dominique are simply amazing. They are graceful, kind, sweet, hospitable, generous, yet very professional. Although our initial plan had been to spend one night, it was so cosy in B&B Les Foulons and in Douai as a whole, and we felt so at home that we ended up staying another night. The room was breathtaking, warm and very clean. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was spacious with a big head. The entire house was indeed magnificent. Breakfast was fantastic (included in the price) and we had an exquisite dinner at a Chinese restaurant, Au Gourmet D’indochine, 5 minutes walk from the B&B. We left the day after feeling well-rested and carried with us in our hearts the warmth and affection we received from Bernard and Dominique. We’re definitely going back for the Easter break and this time it will be for much more than two nights. Thanks Bernard and Dominique for being so authentic and for providing us with two nights of uninterrupted peace and comfort and inspiring so much pleasure and admiration.

We had a 2 night stay in this "hotel", by far the most disappointing housing in years. We arrived late at night, entry door was left unclosed and room keys in an envelope on the table in the hallway , as a fun fact the name was also misspelled on the envelope. Apparently on each floor, the rooms are coupled in a common hallway, with toilet and shower outside the the room, no possibility to lock from the outside your room. Floor was creaking at every step, door made a huge noise, shower very small, breakfast was unavailable even though the reservation had it included, had to go searching for breakfast place. Wifi password unavailable as well. Poorly indicated in every aspect. Bed was quite ok, hot water in the shower.

Located in the city centre and 900 m from the train station and set in an old mansion from the 18th century, Maison d’hôtes du Théâtre offers a view of the Beffroi de Douai. It features a floral garden and free Wi-Fi access is provided. The rooms at Maison d’hôtes du Théâtre have parquet flooring. Uniquely-decorated, they feature a garden view and include a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. The continental breakfast provides French pastries, juices and fresh bread. Guests can also request eggs. The property is situated 25 km from Lesquin Airport and 5 km from the A21 motorway. The Louvre de Lens Museum is 23 km away.
This Chambre D'Hotes is well situated in the town centre offering plenty of opportunity for sightseeing or eating within walking distance. The owner is very helpful and accommodating. We were informed of plenty of dining options available close to the accommodation. At breakfast, we were joined by dowager, the owner's mother, and so we had French conversation included. The interior is very nicely decorated with a classic feel but is very comfortable.

We intended to spend one night at Hotel de Warenghien and were so pleased with the place and the people that decided to spend one more night. The house has a stately air that makes you feel as the guest of the owner. The rooms are spacious and decorated with antiques, while the bathrooms are modern and big. Claude and Aurelie served our breakfast and were wonderful. Would repeat every time.
