We spend two nights there and the second night I thought of changing hotel. Is very noisy during the early morning, the restaurant is not good and kind of expensive, the staff is not good as well. The parking lot is not at the hotel, so if you want to left your car before 10 am you have to pay. The only thing to consider is the location.

Welcome to an affordable two-star hotel located in Downtown Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato.
Great location next to the central plaza with small but clean rooms with hot water, lots of hot water. Great staff gives good service. Traffic means you can’t park in front to drop off bags but the staff have work arounds. But ... “Location, location, location”. It’s steps away from so nuch to see and do. Downsides are there is noise when other guests enter or leave and you may find some expexted items are sparse. Ask for extra towels, or any other needs. Good natured team will help as best they can with your requests and adjust to your needs. It is a down to earth, well run small hotel. It doesn’t pretend to be a luxury stay nor should it be. It’s a good place to stay end enjoy all that is within such a short walk.

A bit hard to find owing to the confusing street names which change every few blocks. When I arrived, their book showed they were expecting me the day after, despite my reservation with booking.com. No hard feelings however as this was soon settled. The room had no outside window and the passage seemed to promote more noise from other guests than light. No complaints however about the room itself which was comfortable and clean. The town has a huge parish church but and impressive plaza but has fewer sights than San Miguel de Allende, and is more of a working town with a lively market area. There are frequent bus services from SMA and for once, the bus station is in the middle of the town. Going the other way, San Luis de La Paz is easily accessible and a busy hub with services to San Luis Potosi and Queretaro.

This is a good hotel: clean and convenient. There is no air conditioning, but fans are provided for the rooms. The big plus was the free parking and excellent customer services. The attendant, Carlos, made us feel at home. He helped us with taxi reservations and other questions about the area, since we were visiting from the United States to attend a wedding. The big plus for this hotel is customer service.

Celebrating my Honeymoon…I chose this hotel from the internet and it seems nice…no parking available (well, they are working on it) no we parked across the street in a secured parking lot. The room was cozy, but it was cold and they didn’t have a heater in the room. They had a jacuzzi (it was nice!!!) However, when I requested mire towels I was questioned if there were no towels! So, I needed to explained myself that I needed extra towels. They took forever to bring them! (Are they understaff?). I was enjoying the jacuzzi when the towels arrived, so I was forced to come out of my pleasant time!! (I waited fir about 30 minutes for my order of extra towels!). They didn’t offer robes. That could be nice to offer. Specially in the jacuzzi rooms! The hotel is close to the plaza and the attractive places to visit! The hotel restaurant is not good! Understaff and way too slow even just for coffee and sweets!
