Boasting 185 comfortable guest rooms and elegantly designed suites, our guests are privileged to enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding waters, making it the perfect escape from the hustling and bustling of the city. Embrace serenity and privacy whilst enjoying a picnic with your loved ones on the Moucha Island beach. The Sheraton Djibouti, being the first international hotel with true Djiboutian hospitality, is also the ideal venue for any event, offering meeting rooms and a spacious ballroom. Plan your next getaway in the Horn of Africa!
This hotel is tired and in need of modernising if it is to maintain what is left of its rapidly fading reputation as a quality place to stay. The staff although polite and hard working need to be brought up to an improved service standard that is in keeping with the 4 stars of a Sheraton Hotel, especially the service staff working in the restaurant. Little things matter and there needs to be more attention to detail, such as have the correct cutlery laid for meals (this includes spoons) and do not set bent out of shape knives. The restaurant Manager needs to ensure guests are provided a menu on entering the restaurant and not just steered to the buffet which is expensive. The AC of the hotel failed in the late afternoon of one day; the reception, communal spaces and rooms becoming like hot ovens through the evening and into the following morning making staying in the building a sweaty misery with no respite. The outside areas and grounds need to be improved to brighten the place and make it more attractive. The 4 star desert hotels of other countries can do this so why not Sheraton Djibouti? To summarise - A perfectly situated hotel riding on past glories. Much improvement required to save a fading reputation if it is to survive in the 21st century.

52 Modern luxury bedrooms situated in the heart of the city centre.
On the good side: Large room, AC worked, WiFI worked On the bad side: Bathroom left to be desired as cleanliness. Also, no hot water, just balmy; Stay away from restaurant! Food is badly cooked, expensive, takes forever. You have 100 m away, right at the next corner the restaurant La chaumiere...exelent food. Breakfast is possible but not very good...a lot of leftovers. Don't pay the whole stay at the beginning. I had to leave a day early and even if I gave them the notice in good time they didn't give me back the money for the last day...

Les Acacias Hotel is ideal for business and leisure providing a private sanctuary and safe haven in the heart of Djibouti, located in Lotissement Heron on a small private beach overlooking the warm turquoise sea waters, within walking distance to the Djibouti Palace. The hotel is well connected to the international Djibouti Airport as well as the Djibouti Port and the commercial centre, which are located a 10 minute drive away.
We spent 6 days in Acacias and the highlights were definitely the courtesy of the staff and the pleasant premises of the hotel. Nice swimming pool, refined art decoration, pleasant sea view on the deck in ongoing construction. Thanks to all staff for the kindness and hospitality.

JANO HOUSE Appart'Hôtel vous propose des locations d'appartements équipés avec services hôteliers.
Best part is the staff Sophia and Mohamed assisted me greatly. This is an apartment hotel, does provide towels but not soap, when I asked about this they went to the store and bought soap for me. They maybe changing to provide soap for short stay guests. Location is very close to the airport, on my last day my guide was late to drop me at the airport, so Sophia offered to drive me herself. Rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. They do have rooms with balconies and without so check which type you want. Hotel has been open 3 months so all fittings are new. Same time if anything is out of place let the staff know and they will try to fix it. There is no restaurant in the hotel, you do have two cooker rings and utensils to cook. Staff can order for you on Kiki delivery app. Le Mer Rouge restaurant is walking distance. There are no major stores near by but several small stores to buy water, coffee, etc.

We stayed here one night. The room was clean but basic. This hotel is more closer to town and therefore more expensive than their sister hotel- Boulaos. However, the service and the rooms are exact the same.

Menelik Hotel has been in the family for generations and offers a unique story, unparalleled hospitality and a sense of history and continuity. The Hotel is located in the heart of the historic city center providing convince and security to all travels visiting Djibouti
I stayed at Menelik hotel for two nights. The hotel is located right in the centre of town. The hotel is a bit old fashioned, yet clean, efficient and the reception staff is nice and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurant is good and their breakfast is acceptable. The only down thing is the gentleman working at the restaurant who is always grumpy, and communicates only in basic English, never smiles, which is a turn off. He speaks neither French nor Arabic. Recommended hotel.
