Like it's sister hotel ( Andersen Hotel ) across the street this hotel is located in the old red light area! As i mentioned in my review of the Andersen Hotel look past that!! This hotel is just as good if not better than the Andersen. It's larger for a start Has a great bar Breakfast is great Location cant be faulted One thing i noticed check in is 2pm..you can leave your bags and go out exploring but your room won't be available until 2pm. We arrived early off of cruiseship and was informed check in was 2pm during our time there we witnessed a few people being told the same so don't expect any early. But its no big deal if you can leave your bags and head out sightseeing Cant wait to visit again

Hotel Kong Arthur is nestled in a small cobblestone nook, just off the road that runs around Copenhagen’s historic lakes. Located in the Nansensgade Quarter, the hotel is close to Torvehallerne, Copenhagen’s finest food marketplace, and close to Nørreport, Denmark’s busiest train and bus station - only 15 min. from the airport by metro. We strive for excellence in everything we do, from offering Copenhagen’s best spa to delivering heartfelt, dedicated service, and serving a Nordic breakfast that is just as delicious as it is sustainable.
The hotel has a special charm and is very centrally located in Copenhagen. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. A friendly gesture f.e. is the cozy hour every evening, when guests are invited to a glass of wine or something similar. We had a nice stay and would love to come back!

This hotel is brilliantly located, about five minutes’ walk from the Central railway station. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, it was expensive for what it offered, I thought. Breakfast was adequate. There was no bacon (in Denmark??) and the Nespresso coffee machine, while no doubt delivering excellent coffee, did not appear to be designed for catering use as it was a bit slow. Our room’s decor was tired and there should be more to “boutique” status than having one wall of the bathroom painted cerise. There was no USB charging socket in the wall which was somewhat inconvenient in a world of mobile devices. Most irritating of all was that the hotel took payment in full on my credit card before I had even arrived. Indeed, as I had booked on the basis of free cancellation, I could theoretically have cancelled after payment had been taken. This would have been difficult to sort out had it been necessary. A competent version of a chain hotel within 250 metres could clean up, I think.

In the cozy little corner of Copenhagen, you find the iconic Nyhavn, which tell stories that reach back to the sixteenth century. Meaning stories about a canal that has been a mercantile centre of the shipping in the Baltics. Later on as a place for fuddled sailors, ‘filles de joie’ and daily police patrols… and now as a place that has changed into a buzzing and culture-historical time capsule and, therefore, has a notorious appeal to both local and international citizens. It is also here, in two of the area’s well-preserved warehouses on the sunny side of the canal, 71 Nyhavn Hotel has its address. We look forward to welcoming you behind the brick fronts that ‘reveal’ the wear and tear… but frame underplayed elegance and unique experiences.
Went at the end of Matbfor a wedding. Location was perfect. Quick walk from the hotel to the end of the canal to catch the Metro. We spent more for a canal view room. Worth the upgrade. Breakfast was very nice. The restaurant at the hotel was very good and accommodating. All in all one of our better if not the best European hotel experiences

Between clogged drains (both the shower and the sink), towels that were soaking wet after I had to mop the floors and then replaced with zero fresh towels, and a micro mini room, I see no reason to stay here again. If you can look beyond that, the location is fabulous as it's close to the metro and Nyhavn.

Coolest hotel I have ever stayed in !! I have just checked out and feel compelled to review immediately, as I loved this experience so much. The hotel is modern and fun, and gets it right, from the self check in and check out (always aided by lovely staff if needed) and the great 24/7 food and bar options to the amazing bedding. Breakfast is ample and the coffee barista makes superb flat whites. Everything has a touch of humor and the staff are all smiles, energetic, and so helpful. Definitely recommend and will return!

Wakeup Copenhagen is located in the heart of the city within walking distance of Tivoli Gardens, Town Hall Square, the pedestrian shopping streets and the waterfront. Measuring 12-15 m2 in area, all guest rooms at Wakeup Copenhagen are comfortable and modern, en-suite, air conditioned and come with multi-channel, flat screen TV, a good-sized desk and a free wireless internet connection as standard. Bed size 160 cm.
Good location 15 minutes from the central station and some of the main spots. Small clean rooms very good for a short stay well isolated from external and internal noise. Good breakfast. The choice of sweets could be improved. Very fast automated check-in and out procedures. We did not like the 20 DKK fee for the luggage locker. This is usually a free service in all hotels.

When we first arrived, our beds were covered with brown and black facial hairs. We asked the staff to put new sheets, but it should not be like that. Besides, the sink was clocked and the toilet was not cleaned before we arrived. The room was overall dirty, but the staff was very nice and helpful. At night, they organize activities, which are also very nice. The hotel is good, the staff is good, but the cleansiness was not.
