Reviewed By U610DMnickwThe room is large with a recliner as well as a couch and a king bed. It has a very pleasant smell and an actual ocean view from our window. The towels are very nice and absorbent. While it was nice to wake up to the ocean view (hence the name of the facility), the horn from the nearby lighthouse beeped all night. The staff was friendly and helpful when asked about nearby restaurants. Nice lobby. If I ever get back here I won't hesitate to stay here again.

We really enjoyed the cleanliness of the room, the comfortable bed, and the nice view! The location is great, right across a small road to beach access. Close to the marina and sea lions. It was our first time visiting Crescent Beach, CA. We were only 15 minutes from the Redwood forests, and right on the beach. We hope to come stay again!

Reviewed By D BCheck-in and check-out was fine. The whole place looks dated and the rooms did not give a clean feeling. Maybe due to the laminate floors did not look clean. All fitting used seemed to be the cheapest quality. And if you plan on doing some work on the net, forget about it - the internet was the slowest I have seen in any hotel. Horrible wifi.

Reviewed By EvanFosThis was a quiet and comfortable motel to spend a night in, I would stay here again. The rooms was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It's a no frills motel, but has everything you need for a good nights sleep and the rate was very reasonable.

Jacuzzi in the “jacuzzi room” broken. Dirty slept in bedding.
Reviewed By cherbarrieWell, we were going to stay in Cresent City. Got a hotel room with a jacuzzi. Opened the door and the odor of smoke came from our non smoking room. We could maybe deal with that, but then the jacuzzi didn't work ( which we paid extra for) . Called down and girl said she be up to take a look. 20 minutes, still no person so My husband called down again. I pulled down the bed covers and clearly they had not washed it and had black things on the sheets. My husband tells the front desk we are just going to stay someplace else and get a refund. They refused. We put the suitcases in the car and went to the front desk and the person at the desk said she would leave a note for the manager in morning. I explained the all of the problems and she asked me to leave and walked away. I stepped outside to return the card keys and she locked me out of the lobby. I put the card keys under the window.

Reviewed By The_Wanderer1992While visiting Redwoods National Park, my husband and I stopped here for the night. We arrived around 830 pm and had to check in through a window. The room was not cleaned well. There was crumbs and stains on the bed frame. The bedsheets had stains. We had to use a chair to use the heater/air conditioning system because it was so high up, and upon entering, the room was in the high 40s. The shower water leaked all over the bathroom floor. We only had 1/3 of a roll of toilet paper upon arrival (the front desk did give extra when we informed them). The hot and cold water tabs were reversed. Also, not necessarily the hotels fault, but we were woken up by six sirens due to the hotels close proximity to highway 101. In summary, you pay less, you get less -- stay at Motel 6!

We have 62 rooms that have been completely renovated for your comfort. We provide certain pet rooms upon request and have two pet areas. North Coast Inn is a non smoking facility and ADA Compliant. We offer a free Continental Breakfast between 7 am and 9 am. Beach access is within two minutes away and the Jedediah Smilth Redwoods State park is only 10 minutes away.

Reviewed By Brian BWhile not overpriced, we felt a bit disappointed for what we paid. The TV was stuck on NBC with no way to change it, the microwave had a mismatched turntable and wouldn't reheat food properly, and while we had no pets, there were no shortage of fleas in our beds.

Reviewed By robertjb988Very outdated furniture! Over priced! Very nice desk clerk! Good location in the middle of town. This property could use major remodeling and updating! This property is close to restaurants, shopping, and a five minute walk to the ocean.
