We had a large group with 6 rooms. This hotel was very nice and convenient for our visit to DC. The rooms are large and clean. The breakfast was good: cold cereal, fresh eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, yogurt, bread, muffins, hot and cold drinks. The staff was very nice. Metro is about a mile away and many restaurants are within walking distance.

I have stayed here on multiple occasions in the past - the physical space is perfectly fine though the hotel sits on a busy road and the rooms on low floors facing the street can be a bit noisy. Because of this, I requested a quiet room on my room reservation. I arrived to a mostly-empty hotel and was given a room right outside of a deck covered in HVAC system equipment. I decided to give the room a chance, but was awakened at a very early hour by the loud noise of HVAC. When I went to the front desk at 1p to try to move my room for the second night, they told me to come back later in the day - which I did, to no avail. The room offered was even worse than my room in terms of noise as it faced the road. The hotel was EMPTY, but the person at the desk could not accommodate a request to allow me to move. I am fine with the concept of college kids getting experience in the hospitality industry, but at ho time did I see an adult manning the front desk or helping the kids make sure that customers are satisfied. It would not be hard to give the front desk kids a map of the building, so they know which rooms face the busy road. I was going to stay a third night, but moved to another area hotel. There are a lot of other hotels in the area. Also, be careful of special event rates - due to graduation "event" in 3 days, the hotel rate was 499, but 2 miles away, there is a well-respected chain hotel with 99 dollar rooms! I understand supply and demand, but 499 for a room a few days away from graduation is price-gouging and the fact that other nearby hotels are a fraction of this price means that there was no need to charge 499.

This has to be the cleanest hotel we've encountered since COVID. The staff (Jamaal) was kind, generous and welcomed us with a smile and fun hotel facts. The entire room and lobby, looked brand new, it was sanitized and well maintained. This was me and my husbands first time staying at Cambia, as we're Hilton Honor members, but will not be our last. Love, love it everything about this hotel. Thank you Jamaal for the wonderful customer service.

Ever hear of this? No soap in hotel. Not told when we checked in. When we cam downstairs to ask about it, without any sense of concern he told us we'd have to go somewhere else and buy it. Not even a "sorry." At complementary breakfast, no decaf coffee. How do you not have decaf when dealing with the public today? But no soap? A joke that no one would believe.

This is a terrific hotel in CP near UMD. Staff was helpful and the room was very clean, modern and super well appointed! Comfortable bed, desk with great office chair, fridge, microwave, safe, coffee, amenities in bath without all the little bottles- very well thought out. Desk lamp even has built in currency converter for those in from overseas. Highly recommend

Very un professional staff , I was left in a room with being unable to flush the toilet for a total of 11 hours because the front desk man notified me that they don’t have a plunger I’ll have to wait until the following day for house keeping . Then I had to go up front and they had one in a room less then 10 feet that was given to me . I had requested for toilet paper . The front desk lady said I’ll have to wait for house keeping she doesn’t have any then my husband went back up there 3 hours later she said very rudely I couldn’t do anything about it you have to wait for him . Then he walked around the hotel waiting and found a man who worked there and he took it out of a room he was getting trash from . My son had vomited and we asked for Sheets since he got sick from eating the breakfast there that morning and the front desk had responded sorry i have no sheets you’ll need to wait until tomorrow. Leaving me, my husband and my 1 year old and 4 year old to sleep in un safe conditions on many occasions my 1 year old is now very sick from being left in a unsanitary environment . My son had gotten sick from just eating here, we had also notified the front desk our room key hadn’t been working he replied obviously your doing something wrong it’s not on our end . This place is by far the most unprofessional environment I have EVER HAD TO ENCOUNTER! After all of this . There make up was free breakfast for two days , and a small discount on our room for a extra night . Just to be charged 3 days after we left for $250.00 for bodily fluids being on the bed and that we had apparently had the time and the nerve to so called flip the mattress and put a cover on wrong ?????? When we didn’t do that at all . I call to ask why I’m being charged we spoke for 5 minutes then I got put on hold and completely left like that for a hour ! I call back the front desk lady said she’s not available. These people are nothing but liars, thieves, and crooks. They are disrespectful and the trashiest employees I have ever met !!!! They expect you to stay in unsanitary circumstances when you already booked the hotel for a week and spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars already that you can’t get back just to take more !!!!!!!! DON’T COME HERE ITS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY !!!!!!!!

Please do not stay here. You would be better off sleeping in your car. The chair looked like it had been torn to sheds by a beast. The television would change from color to black & white and back to color without prompting. There was a large yellow stain on the top cover which I had to use because there was no blankets. There were stains on the towels and they were rough. The AC unit was so loud that we had difficulty falling asleep. Strange that they offered a wake up call, which we accepted, but we never received because there wasn't a phone in the room. We were afraid to turn off the lights because bugs might come out. No breakfast. No pool. Paid over $100 for the room. Never again.

First off we usually try to stay at Marriott hotels. We are platinum members and travel alot. Right upon check in the clerk did not seem friendly at all. Never asked us about a welcome gift or extra points for being members. Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. It was set up very strange. Had a computer table you could pull out and use as a kitchen table but the only chair was a computer chair. So only 1 person could sit and eat at the table. It had a full kitchen so why would you not have any dining chairs at all. The bedroom had dog hair on the carpet. I went down the next morning and asked them to please sweep the bedroom. Thecroom itself was very dark with poor lighting. When I went for the free breakfast that was suppose to be until 930 they were out of eggs, and potatoes even though it was only 9. I finally found the breakfast lady and asked if there would be more. She said it would take like 7 minutes to make and she seemed confused on making more. I said that was ok, I would just make a waffle. Did that and then found out there was no maple syrup. Once again I asked if they had syrup and she simply stated no. I'm not sure if that means they never have maple syrup or had just run out. I did check the other 2 mornings I went down and I never did find any. Why even have a waffle maker when you dont offer syrup? As for the few times I needed to interact with the staff I either couldn't seem to get anyone to come up to the front desk and when they finally did they either didn't seem helpful or friendly at all. I usually never complain about things like this but there were just so many little things that I definitely will not be staying here again. Very unorganized and not customer service oriented at all. Feel bad for the people that are staying there long term. I would definitely look elsewhere.
