Reviewed By greenhillbeachUSThis is a truly unique property in a good location with outstanding service and great food. We traveled to Columbia with a tailor-made custom tour from Abercrombie & Kent and they introduced us to the Bio Habitat Hotel to enjoy during visit to the “Coffee Triangle”. We are glad we traveled to this area to experience a special part of the county with coffee plantations, parks and rainforests. We stayed in an aviaries room which has all glass walls with the only solid wall between the bedroom and bathroom. The room had electric drapes which you could lower if you wanted enclosure but there was no need to since the room is on the side of a hill immersed in the native forest with a full view of the forest from the room and balcony. We enjoyed two dinners and breakfasts at the hotel and the food was quite good and very reasonably priced.

Reviewed By tikibartobeUpon arrival it is very pretty. This is a hotel in a remote coffee farm. This is a very simple place lacking services. The rooms are spacious with simple decor a place for your clothes and a small frig. Our unit had a balcony overlooking the farm land. The grounds are well cared for with pretty gardens. The blasting music from 9am until 10 pm was overwhelming. Made it hard to enjoy the birds, and sounds of nature. The jacuzzi is not heated, looks like a small pool. The gym is misleading from the web pic. It’s tiny and not much. The biggest challenge is the restaurant. No choices. It’s the meal of the day, take it or leave it, and the quality and taste was terrible. It’s close to parque del. Café. The WiFi is non existent from your room,only pool side does it sometimes work. I guess if you do not have high expectation it would be fine. You need tranportation as it is remote. No true tv service, 3 local channels.

This is the worst hotel in Colombia
Reviewed By 643narayanamI have no words for this hotel, other than don't stay here! I am a digital nomad and traveler who lives in hotels, and this is the worst experience I have ever had! Below are the reasons: -The room came without soap, which is rare. It has never happened to me that I have to wash my hands with shampoo. -Then, on the first night, a huge cockroach came out of the bathroom and me and my husband had to kill it, since it was late at night. -Then the next day, when we got to our room, it had not been cleaned. Their excuse was that I didn't leave the keys, but they never told me to do so when I checked in. -Also, the Wifi doesn't work well here, which is less than ideal. -This place is super weird in the sense that their entire property is full of paintings and images of Jesus. They even have a church inside the hotel. I am not religious, so I found it extremely rude. If you are not a Jesus freak, don't stay here! By the way, the hotel is totally empty post-Covid, and the other only American staying here, also found this place WEIRD. -The icing on the cake? After I complained, the receptionist, the cleaning lady, the administrator, AND the macho Colombian owner, all ganged up against me on why I should not be upset about their crappy. OMGGGG I am the client, and the fact that they don't want to admit their poor management of their business should be the theme of the conversation. They missed the saying: "The customer is always right." If you are looking into having fun in Colombia, don't stay in this place. You will regret it!

Reviewed By florica8No need to emphasize that it deserves 5 stars (there are no sixes). This wonderful lodge nested in the countryside about 20 minutes from the center of Armenia and 40 minutes from the airport, really deserves a detour.. Everything is perfect, the rooms, the food, the staff (Mario and others). One tip though for first time tourists: this 20 room lodge is located at a road corner called LA CRISTALLINA. All taxi drivers know it by this name. Enjoy. Stay a week or more if you like to relax in a fantastic scenery.

Reviewed By Steve DA small but wonderful hotel in Circasia. This hotel is located in the small town of Circasia. Although only 20 rooms, each is incredibly clean. Room rate include any hotel tax. Expect a great breakfast each morning. Breakfast is served between 7am-10am daily. Lastly, located in proximity are 2 infamous hot springs, national Parque del Cafe, and a wonderful town called Salento. Hotel staff is first class and those living in this area are a wonderful bunch of folks. My only concern when leaving was to consider how soon will the return trip be. Our six year old son suggested tomorrow for the return.......

Reviewed By Juan Manuel GEstuvimos en el hotel por 3 noches. Nos atendieron muy bien, nos dieron la elección de elegir si queriamos algún desayuno o comida diferente al que ellos ofrecen. Se lo pedimos el primer dia que llegamos y al dia siguiente tenian todo preparado muy bien. Las habitaciones son limpias, las vistas del hotel son muy bonitas, se puede escuchar el sonido de las aves es muy relajante, precisamente lo que buscábamos. Nos brindaron descuento en los pasaportes a los parques y tenían servicio de transporte. La carretera de la vereda no es padimentada y la finca esta un poco lejos pero no le vimos problema porque en el hotel nos brindaron alimentación, la que nosotros le sugerimos y nuestra idea del viaje era descansar y relajarnos.
