For the price, ($242 plus tax), I would expect better quality. Frayed carpet, room smelled like smoke (although a sign in the lobby says it’s a smoke free hotel), tired and grungy. We are traveling with our dog, and appreciate that this hotel allows dogs, but for that price, should have been better.

This is a typical Double Tree hotel. It didn’t have any handicap parking so we had to park in the municipal garage next door. The front door wasn’t very accessible for dropping off luggage. The hotel staff made us walk down a very long hallway to get to our room. Just not very friendly or considerate for people with disabilities. The room was nice but it certainly didn’t make up for inconsiderate staff and management. Not happy after staying in the Double Tree at the Pearson airport in Toronto.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. Our king room was spacious and supplied with everything you might have needed. The tv had a great variety of clear channels. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast selections were varied and plentiful. All in all a perfect place to stay.

I was pleasantly surprised at the nice condition of my room. I was on my second full day of driving across country. I was tired and was hoping that my room would be clean and the plumbing functional. My previous stay in a hotel in Kentucky was not those things. This place was very clean. The water was hot in the tub and shower. The bathroom was clean and the staff was pleasant. I slept well. It was quiet and I was warm in the bed. The breakfast was nice. It's been a while but I told the manager I would leave a review. I would definitely stay there again when I am traveling. I can be sure to have a good night's rest in clean and decent room.

This resort is in need of a serious upgrade. We were there for two nights for a wedding. The furniture in our room looks like vintage 1970's and the desk chair was about to fall apart. We were in a loft space, with upstairs bedrooms. Unfortunately, the device to lower shade at night did not work. We reported it after the first night, but it did not get repaired, so we had bright spotlights from outside shining in our room both nights. There was no housekeeping, but they failed to inform us of that upon check-in, or when making the reservation. On a bright note, we arrived for breakfast about 20 minutes before they opened, but the waitress invited us to come in and served coffee and tea for us. She came back a few minutes later; she had asked the kitchen if they would start serving early and they said yes. So we had a nice, hot breakfast ready just as the restaurant was supposed to open. The indoor and outdoor pools are also very nice.

We are on a road trip to Lake Placid and used this as a stop on the way. It’s a bit tricky to get to, but the setting is beautiful. Our initial room was unsatisfactory. It was small, and had flies (alive and dead) in the room. We were relocated to a room in the annex which was cleaner and more spacious. The bathroom was a bit cramped but adequate. The staff was great- very friendly and accommodating.

The Quality Inn was clean, quiet and comfortable beds. Good shower and nice towels. Friendly staff. We stayed one night on our way east and it was fine for that. A little way out of town so we drove into town for food. We had a first floor room, no sliding door as near the lobby.
