The hotel isn't bad. You get what you pay. I arrived around 10:30pm because of a delayed flight and I had to take another one the next day at 7am. The hotel couldn't guarantee that the shuttle was going to be there at 5am, so that was a bit stressful. The elevators were broken and it could have been more clean, as I found a cockroach in my bathroom. Overall I would give it a 2.

We stayed for three days when our flight was canceled multiple times. The staff were so accommodating and kind. I have never experienced so many wonderful people working at a hotel! The front desk manager, Niecy was so kind. Patrice, also at the desk was so kind and sincere. Skye in housekeeping was very nice. The breakfast crew were so attentive: Mary, Ann, Kim and Felicia. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Charlotte, this is it!!

Myself and my children have stayed there in the past and truly enjoyed the stay. We went to Carowinds and explore around town. We enjoyed the pool each night and we loved Love's the breakfast that was provided. The rooms were clean end super comfortable there was enough space for me to have privacy in the bedroom area, and space for the kids to Lounge in the living space. It was really great having the two televisions, where the kids could watch their shows and I could watch my things in the room. It was very helpful should have a mini fridge along with a microwave. The front desk what's more than accommodating and the staff what's super extra friendly. These people definitely know their job and they seem to really enjoy it, thanks for making our stay great.

Great accommodations and staff, will definitely come back. Parker was especially helpful and was a fountain of information on all things local. JW’s are typically very nice but this particular JW is one of the best ones we have visited.

Decades before The Dunhill Hotel would open, local architect Louis Asbury Sr. was entranced by the great Italian craftsmen who created cathedrals famous for their soaring, elegant roof lines. Today, The Dunhill Hotel stands distinct on the Charlotte skyline, an amalgam of American, British, and Italian influences, something those with an eye for period detail can detect. Opened in 1929 as the Mayfair Manor apartment hotel, with half of its original 100 rooms permanent residences, today's Dunhill Hotel is a thoughtful evolution. A full restoration was recently completed, and various on-going aesthetic improvements all share a common goal--to celebrate the original vision of Mr. Asbury, with a nod to the needs of the modern traveler.
We stayed here one night to celebrate a special occasion. After reading some recent negative reviews, I was concerned. However, I worried needlessly. From check-in to check-out, everything was flawless. Our room was quite spacious and very clean. And quiet. The staff was welcoming and gracious. We have decided not to wait for a special occasion to return.

Due to a missed flight we had to spend 12 hours at the airport waiting for another flight While waiting I made reservations for the night at this Garden Inn. Our flight was delayed an additional 3 hours so we were tired and hungry by the time we checked in. The Garden Inn turned our day around. Good food, good drink, friendly and helpful staff. We made the right choice!

Good breakfast and evening snacks were good as well. My kids enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool and the hot tub was nice to relax in as well. It's right next to the mall, so it was nice to walk over there and check it out.

Worst customer service! At first they were not willing to modify my reservation. It was simple and they seem they don’t know how to do it. I persisted and showed them how to and was corrected. My room was not cleaned for 5days of my stay. I requested twice on the 3rd and 4th day of my stay. They say they will send some one but didn’t happen. Not coming back definitely.
