Great personal experience for my wife and I. The friendliness and desire to make our stay enjoyable was obvious. Nice room, nice view of Lake Charlevoix, nice breakfast, nice people, good rates (October, so non-peak season). An hour away from Traverse City, an hour away from Mackinaw Bridge. 20 minutes from Petoskey (1/2 hour ? from start of Tunnel of Trees North of Petoskey) . Will definitely stay here again whenever we're in the area. Really enjoyed the trip. Thank you, Jeremy, for making our trip so memorable.

Charlevoix's newest lodging facility located 2 miles north of downtown. Directly across from Little Traverse Wheelway and Charlevoix Country Club. Spacious rooms including whirlpool and fireplace suites. Largest hotel breakfast that includes waffles, biscuits and sausage gravy, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, cereal, danish, fresh fruit, fruit cups and much more! Indoor pool, sauna, hot tub open year round. Wifi and meeting room. Spacious parking lot for all your RV/boat/bus tour needs. Many upgrades in 2012 including new upgraded bedding and mattresses and 32" flat screen tv's.
Coffee and coffeemaker in every room. Uh, no, there wasn’t either. Not even paper cups. The fridge didn’t have a freezer section and someone had taken the knob off so you couldn’t change the temperature. The breakfast - advertised as the largest, with fresh fruit - wasn’t. There was no fruit whatsoever and no biscuits or sausage gravy, but there were eggs and sausages. The room was fine apart from the missing items, beds were comfy and there were lots of pillows. Lobby was beautiful and staff were pleasant. Still overall a disappointment.

What an amazing weekend we had vacationing in Charlevoix! Staying at the MacDougall home was the perfect find to make our weekend extraordinary. The hosts made us feel so welcomed and like we were a part of their family! The rooms were cozy, quiet and very clean. We loved the delicious breakfast and were in awe of the home made maple syrup too! This place was so close to all the shopping and beaches and we look forward to visiting again soon! Thank you for making our anniversary so special.!

Were in town for a wedding and stayed two nights. Had a great time visiting the shops and restaurants as they we all within walking distance. There is a beautiful view of the channel out to Lake Michigan and a great place to watch sunset. We stayed in a suite that had a balcony with a view of the water. Very clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Charlevoix's newest luxury boutique hotel. Hotel Earl of Charlevoix is a historic hotel with a chic, cosmopolitan vibe.
We were in Charlevoix for a family wedding, and many of us stayed at hotel Earl. From the ease of check-in and the friendliness of the staff to the lovely Earl Young designed lobby our stay was very pleasant. Location on the main street made it convenient for restaurants, the Mushroom House tour, and shopping. The rooms have been updated and are very comfortable with lovely bathroom. I would highly recommend staying here!

Charlevoix House is an 8 unit Inn/Bed & Breakfast located in the heart of Charlevoix. We are about 2 blocks from Round Lake, Lake Michigan, and the best of Charlevoix's retail. All units have their own private bathroom.
Charlevoix House has everything--walkable to downtown and to Depot Beach, charming nearly 100 year old home, and a great hostess. Amber went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She prepared a special meal for members of our party who were lactose intolerant. Amber made sure the A/C was working in our room when we arrived in 90 degree weather, and she made sure we were warm enough when it was 40 degrees at night two days later. She is very knowledgeable about the city and can direct guests toward interesting sites. Our room was large and comfortable with a renovated bathroom. Charlevoix House is a perfect location to stay in Charlevoix!

Worth a drive if you like this sorda thing. I found them neat. There are tours available but you can easily see them yourself. Tip: use your favorite search engine and put in Charlevoix Mushroom Houses and you can find a map of all houses. Some houses are easier to find then others but the hunt makes it fun too. Enjoy the hunt!

It was our first time to Charlevoix and now that we have fallen in love with the town, we’re already planning our next trip back! From the amazing food, extremely friendly atmosphere and the views (which are incredible), you’ll definitely enjoy your stay. We traveled with our pup so having a dog friendly suite at Pointes North Inn was super accommodating. They went above and beyond leaving bowls, treats, and a dog mat for him. We loved having the bedroom upstairs, away from the living room which made it feel bigger. Kitchen was updated and had everything you needed. Perfect patio walkout which lands you right on Main Street/Downtown, with a short walk to the water. Also, down the street within walking distance was a incredible coffee/crepe breakfast place, a few bars, restaurants and grocery store. Also, the manager at Pointes North Inn immediately made you feel like home as you walked into the lobby. We cannot wait to come back with our pup for another trip!
