On the check- in email message they advertise "Enhanced global cleaning protocols. IHG Clean Promise to you". After following email check-in instructions we also checked in at the front desk. At no time were we asked if we wanted housekeeping during our stay. The housekeeping staff were all over the hotel so on our second day we mistakenly assumed they'd be cleaning our room or at least straightening it, removing trash and leaving clean towels. We got NOTHING. I called the front desk when we got back to the room at 4 pm, they said it was our fault for not requesting housekeeping at check-in. No one ever told us that housekeeping was not included unless we requested it (with an average price of $350 per night at Holiday Inn Express!) . Hey, I don't expect a lot, but a clean towel might have been nice. Additionally, our coffee machine was broken, tissues ran out, hallways were dirty and look like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks and breakfast closes at 9:30 PROMPTLY, with an obnoxious front desk employee yelling at the staff to SHUT IT DOWN! PS: to the management, we do not require a scripted response

Enjoyed our stay at this recently changed to Homewood Suites. Checkin was a breeze. Booked a 2 bedroom, 2 King 2 Bathroom. Got the room I selected on the app and upon entering noticed it was the parking lot view. I read about better view looking at golf course across the way. Called down and they let me move. Thanks again!! New room was good. Clean and overall very nice. Only negative was the noise of the floor above, people walking, flogging and dropping dumbells. Property recently changed to a Hilton chain, from Holiday Inn. No signage on the building and temp sign up front. The decor is rather beat up in the rooms, and no photos or art work, very dorm like not Hilton chain like. Maybe over time. Service and personnel were fantastic. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, and professional. Pool wasn't as nice as photos seemed to show. Torn loungers, mismatched and not many compared to the 50 occupancy and despite a sign about dangers of entering hot water, no jacuzzi/spa. Wind was ridiculous, so pool time was very limited. Not the hotels problem. One staff member mentioned it was often windy due to its location. But this was hurricane force at some times. News said 65mph gusts. Apparently for 3 or 4 days. 3 of them ours. Boo. Would recommend for a large room and great service and Uber/Lyft access to Palm Springs downtown but otherwise remote.

Came here for my wife’s birthday. She is Diamond member and we used points here. I am normally not a difficult person or picky but the check in was the driest and least enthusiastic check in and I noticed the person checking us who was extremely unwelcoming is their Front office manager. His name is Peter Fleuret (big attitude problem) anyway who cares. The supervisor Lezlie the exact opposite, she is a nice person with the right hospitality approach. We came to the pool. Super unorganized. All seats have wet towel on them you can’t say if they are occupied or not. No pool attendant. Pool was busy so had a hard time finding a spot. It was windy. Opened an umbrella thinking it must be secured went to grab my stuff the umbrella flew to my face almost knocking me out. 2 kids were almost hit as well. Blocked the umbrella with my arm which really hurt. Went to Front desk to report this. Lezlie apologized but Peter said he will handle it. NOT a single time did he apologize. When I told him that none of their umbrellas are secured he cut me off saying they closed them because of the wind. Asked him if he did put warning signs for not opening the umbrellas he said NO. Asked for their corporate number to report this safety negligence and probably his attitude and how he handles escalations from guests. This will not stop here. Aimbridge Hospitality should know that they have a very incompetent Front office manager who will be a big liability for you. Save your money and go somewhere else. You don’t need to be killed by an umbrella and certainly not deal with Peter Fleuret’s attitude.

My vacation got off to a very bad start 1 week before checking in. I tried calling the resort several various times 1 week before checking in to ask questions and to let them know I would be arriving late. Each time I got a busy signal. I even called several times while on the road to the hotel as I was worried maybe they didn't exist as I've had NO CONTACT with them at all. I even called RCI to make sure they were legit and they also tried calling on another line and couldn't get through. Finally when I got there, I was not greeted with any smiles. Just 1 gentleman whom seemed tired like he had a long day. I asked him why I couldn't get through on the phone and he says the phone lines were down all week and they still are down; which also means I would not be able to call the front desk from neither my own room nor my cell phone. This meant anything I would need from front desk I would need to walk all the way down to ask for it. Here's the WORST PART. He gave me 2 room keys that looked like credit cards. Trusting that they would work, I lug all my luggage on every shoulder, neck, etc and had to climb stairs to the 2nd floor. I get to my room sweating and out of breath. AND MY ROOM KEYS DON'T WORK! So not feeling comfortable leaving all my stuff outside in the hallway (I was alone) I lugged all my stuff back down the stairs back to the front desk. THEN while walking to the front desk, their sprinklers turn on and they showered me with all my luggage. I finally get to the front desk soaking wet and they see I'm very annoyed. He gives me new keys and tells me he's sending someone up and they will be there by the time I get there. AGAIN I go through all the sprinklers again and get showered again as that was the closest path to my room. I go all the way up sweating and gasping for air and no one is there waiting for me. However, my keys worked and opened the door. I decided to first check the room before bringing all my luggage inside. I went inside to check out the room real quick and felt it was ok to bring my luggage in then go back outside and door slams shut behind me. I thought "no problem I have my keys". WELL MY KEYS STOPPED WORKING AGAIN! HERE WE GO AGAIN. I lug all my luggage back down again, get showered with sprinklers again, and go to front desk LIVID. Needless to say I finally got in on the 3rd try of keys. However, they stopped working again one late evening after ubering home from having drinks with friends. I just wanted to go to bed!

The resort was nice - rooms comfortable … but not as advertised. When we arrived we were told the pool was closed and would remain closed for our entire trip. It was 40 degrees - we chose that resort because it had a nice pool to lay out at. The chairs on the patio got to hot to sit on (without a towel) and two of them were broken. We ended up paying to stay at a different hotel for half our trip as There were no accommodations in place to go to another resort pool. We were very disappointed that there was nothing noted on the website or that we were not told before hand - the sign on the pool door said it was closed in March. While the resort was nice - I would suggest calling first and specifically asking if the pool is open … or you could be REALLY disappointed.

CCBC is the largest clothing-optional gay men's resort in southern California.
This is a Men’s only Nudist Resort. Checking in bit of a headache. Did not get the room we booked online. Checked in and was given a different room instead. Ended up getting a discount upon check out. Type of room needs to be included with the confirmation number to avoid any future issues. Consistency also needs to be addressed. We did not require housekeeping Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, our room was not cleaned, only towels and trash replaced. Toilet, sink, and mirror were still dirty. No pool towels on the bed either unless they were being washed. Even the garbage can in the bathroom was left in the middle of the floor which seems trivial, but at least put it back in the corner and not leave it in the middle of the floor resulting in a trip hazard. It’s also in the best interest for anyone wanting to stay here double check the room you booked online and call to confirm. For two or more; one name on the reservation is best. Paying with one credit card is preferable, otherwise they have to change the name and it’s a hassle for the employees and longer check in time. We made the mistake of paying with two credit cards. It’s best to pay the full amount before checking in.

Rooms and bathrooms are not just old and in need of maintenance, they are filthy. No cleaning service except that they pick up your towels to launder them, then restock. The property should be condemned. Prices were driven up for Coachella, but come on!!

The staff were great, but the wifi was terrible, intermittent and less than 10mps, so unusable for any video calls. Sure, most people there are probably not working, but still, these days strong internet should be the norm. Not their fault, but the pool was also shut down due to a county wide Legionnaires Disease scare.
