Availability of two small rural hotels in the center of the town of Candeleda, on the southern face of the Sierra de Gredos, next to the Tiétar Valley and the Vera region. Located in the center of town, where the old town begins. All rooms with bathroom, heating, air conditioning, television and wireless Internet access. We also have a full rental rural house (LUNA) for 1 to 5 people, in the countryside one step from town.
There are many things that I would like to highlight about this accommodation: First of all, the hosts: Luis and Ana proved to be not only super welcoming and kind but also extremely helpful and professional. Upon arrival, we told them what we wanted to do and experience in and around Candeleda and they listened to us carefully to later give us a series of fabulous recommendations that made us have a truly memorable stay in the area. They were able to understand exactly our travel style, the type of places that we enjoy and what we were looking for and they were absolutely outstanding travel advisors. Second, the accommodation itself and the check-in process: On the day of our arrival, Luis and Ana texted us to ask what time we thought we would be at the accommodation. We replied and they arranged for a super smooth check-in with great attention to detail. It was a very hot day so they turned on the air conditioning in our room in advance so it was nice and cool for us upon arrival. The room itself was impeccable, convenient and something very important for us: with great low level lighting! There were many lamps with warm light bulbs so it was cosy and relaxing at night. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets nice and crisp! Third: Candeleda and the Sierra de Gredos: paradise! This is remote area in central Spain of stunning natural beauty, small off-the-beaten-track towns and villages and rivers of crystal-clear waters. We very much enjoyed the simplicity of the local lifestyle, the ambiance in the main square in the evening and the local food too!

Four star Country Boutique Hotel, located at 800mt in one of the most espectacular areas on the South of the Gredos mountain range. It has incredible views of the Almanzor peak as well as the Tietar Valley, the El Rosarito water reservoir, and the Toledo and Ibores maountain ranges. Refinement and luxury in the midst of nature.
From the elegant breakfast facilities and the gazillion of eggs in which your eggs could be cooked to perfection to the stunning scenery and the incredibly chic room interiors. Really, could spot no element to complain about. It provided the setting to the best work retreat I could have possibly imagined. My only regret was that I visited in late October, and the weather was a wee bee chill - nothing compared to mainland Europe, but still. I think in early autumn the place is simply astonishing. So zen.

We are a small hotel with 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. We have 14 double rooms which has been totally renovated in March 2017. All of them have a large and comfortable bed, wooden floors, air conditioning and individual heat pump, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle courtesy of the hotel, mini-fridge for client's use, wardrobe and desk and a comfortable and functional bathroom with wide showers. All this in the center of Candeleda, for the convenience of our customers.
We stayed 2 nights at this lovely little hotel in the centre of town. The room had recently been refurbished and it was very modern, clean and extremely comfortable including the super king size bed and lovely bathroom.

The Rural Tourism Centre El Mirlo Blanco is located at the feet of Gredos Mountain range,in a setting of incomparable beauty, where luxury and nature are blended in perfect harmony and balance.
We stopped for lunch here. The food was delicious and the experience was sublime. Service was excellent. I started with a Ginebra Mare gin and tonic. The table side preparation set the stage for this delicious cocktail. My partner had a cerveza. The bread was delicious, served with a high quality olive oil, as is the custom. The menu clearly states that bread/oil service is a 2€ charge per person which is well worth it. My partner had the gazpacho and a pollo al ajillo and I had piqillos rellenos con bacalao. The gazpacho had a table side presentation of toppings. We relaxed and enjoyed a leisurely lunch on the beautiful outdoor terrace. I would definitely recommend it.

this is a small rural hotel with a small restaurant, but it is without doubt the best restaurant in town, too start with it has a beckoning fireplace, it is tastefully decorated and the food is Italian in style. It only caters for about 18 people so if you want a table is best to reserve especially on weekends. If you are in the area of this small country village do yourself a favor and pop in for linch or dinner, by the way the wine list is huge... prices are a bit high compared to other restaurants in the area but then it is also a cut above the other restaurants in the area
