The Yarrow's a very good hotel for a chilled out time. All the staff - fab. Stayed 3 nights in a luxury double - fab. Cocktails, wine & dinner - fab. Parking in Broadstairs - fab. Only slight negative ..the cooked breakfast could have been warmer.

Recently refurbished and close to the centre of Broadstairs, Kent, The Bay Tree is ideally located for a weekend break or holiday in one of England's most beautiful and traditional seaside resorts. Situated in a dramatic location on the cliff top, there are stunning views of the coastline and sandy beaches in Stone Bay. There is a terrace for looking out over the bay while enjoying a relaxing drink from our licensed bar, an inviting lounge with an open fire and a restaurant featuring gourmet cuisine with locally-sourced ingredients. All bedrooms are en suite and have flat screen smart TVs and tea-making facilities. Many offer a sea view and one room has a balcony. Breakfasts are cooked to order using local produce.
The hotel is beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and super soft towels. Breakfast was excellent, as was the tarragon chicken which one of our party had at supper and adored. Drinks before supper were in the sitting room with its fabulous sea view. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. It is also unique due to the collection of Harry Potter memorabilia hanging in the hallway. The Bedlington terriers are also a joy!

We booked the room via Expedia. Rent was bit higher may be because of the long weekends. Our room was very clean, comfortable. It had everything we needed… electric kettle , hair dryer, coffee, hot chocolate and toiletries etc. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They let you keep your luggage before checking in or even after you checking out. That bit really eased our travel. I would recommend the hotel anyone visiting broadstairs.

We provide a hamper breakfast pre ordered the night before and delivered to your room fresh in the morning. We cater for most dietary requirements. We are a very short walk to Broadstairs centre with a huge choice of bars pubs cafe's and reataurants. Viking bay with its clean sandy beach is just a 3 minute walk away. We are right on the Loop bus route getting you to Ramsgate and Margate to see the attractions there as well. We are VisitEngland 4 Star silver rated. We have won several awards, and recently were winners of Channel 4's "Four in a Bed".
I am not usually given to writing reviews, but felt compelled to write after our stay. We had a wonderful short stay at Copperfields on our first visit to Broadstairs. The owner, Neale, was very accommodating. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the B&B had a calm and quiet atmosphere. There were also a number of ethically sourced and cruelty free products available, which was good to see. The breakfast, served to us in our room each morning, was of good quality and absolutely delicious, providing a great start to the day. There was a wide selection of breakfast options to choose from. Copperfields is perfectly located for the beach, sightseeing, local restaurants and public transport (approx. 5 minutes to the beach, and buses to Margate, Canterbury and Ramsgate just on the doorstep). We would definitely recommend this B&B. We look forward to hopefully returning at some point.

Found ourself in here for an evening meal after a late night dash to the shops. It has been a while since last time and got to say it was a lovely meal. We had the duo of chicken and beef as well as the kebab and the food was lovely. Service was very good and the place was spotlessly clean both in the restaurant and the toilets. Not the cheapest place to eat but we thought it was worth it and would certainly return to sample some of the other delights it has on the menu.

Found out after arrival..tv had not been working for days. Bathroom badly planned.. toilet squashed into corner, uncomfortable to use.. shower was a trickle..no power to it and a bit fell off the riser whilst using it.verticsl blinds in roo. Did not close so room was light, but during evening lighting in room was very dim so couldn't read... would have been OK for tv though. Although contacted host they did not seem bothered. Discovered all new bt things ready to put in in cupboard..just they couldn't be bothered to provide. This apartment is not worth the price it charges.

My family stayed in Apt No. 4, Garden Views over the bank holiday. It was great, the apartment was really lovely. It had 2 en-suite bathrooms and a toilet. It was very spacious. It took around 15 minutes to walk to the beach, we had good weather so the walk was no problem.

I took my Mum on holiday to The Viking Guest House last week and we cannot say enough good things about it! The booking process was easy - we paid a deposit on booking and the final payment wasn’t taken until we arrived for our stay. We received such a warm welcome from Tony and his staff and the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and cooked fresh to order. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a key to the front door and could come and go as we pleased, and it was very close to the beach and all the other attractions, whilst also being quiet and peaceful. We would like to say a huge thank to Tony and his staff for looking after us and giving us such an enjoyable holiday. We are recommending Viking Guesthouse to all our family and friends, and are very much hoping to book again for next year!
