Australia’s third-largest city, Brisbane is the hub of Queensland culture, offering a peek at the past and a glimpse into the future. Visit the historic Windmill and Old Commissariat Store, built by convicts in 1828, or fast-forward to the present (and beyond) with a trip to the new Gallery of Modern Art. Mingle with locals atop Mount Coot-tha, cruise the Brisbane River to South Bank’s sandy beach on the City Cat and make sure to fill the cuteness quota at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, home to koalas and kangaroos.

The striking new Novotel Brisbane South Bank is perfectly placed close to the Brisbane River to make your Brisbane stay memorable, whether doing business or taking a breather. A short walk to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Beyond the Centre, you’ll enjoy stunning views, lush parklands, superb dining experiences, fine galleries, and the inner city oasis that is Streets Beach.
We stayed for a night and can highly recommend this lovely hotel. Thank you to Millicent at the front office for a wonderful stay, organising everything for us, including making a dinner reservation at the restaurant (separate review for that, it was great). The hotel was clean, friendly, nothing was too much trouble. It is a great location. The bed was SUPER comfortable, and I loved the bathroom design in our room (corner suite) which had lots of natural light and felt spacious (unlike all the dark, dingy bathrooms in many hotels). The hot chocolate was also perfect. Thank you :)

Immerse yourself in this grand historic building suitably in the center of Brisbane. The Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane is heritage-listed and artfully restored with a classic yet contemporary design. Located on George Street, the ground floor lobby space celebrates the building’s Art Deco origins. A stone’s throw from Queen Street Mall and Queen’s Wharf, or a brief stroll will find you in amongst buzzing Southbank’s cool bars, restaurants and parklands.
Booked room with bath , staff member advised she would see what she could do to accommodate after I had been up to the room didn't and did not follow up at all. It was disappointing especially for the price you would expect a higher tier level if service it is consistent I guess with adina in Sydney which is now terrible

Rooms feature espresso coffee machines, digital compendiums for ordering room service, lodging housekeeping requests and more, free unlimited high speed wifi, as well as double glazed floor to ceiling windows to ensure you enjoy sweeping views without the city noise.
I refer to my previous questionaire filled out. There were some issues which I would not expect from a price range in the middle range (300 + for a room with view onto other buildings) as well as some other minor things.

These apartments are located in a great area, very close to the train station & loads of restaurants etc. it’s also around a half an hour walk to West End which has amazing shops & more restaurants! The staff were also very helpful as we were upgraded to the top (5th) floor after the air conditioning in our 1st floor room wasn’t working correctly. We had room 504 which overlooks the Brisbane river and it was wonderful, so try and book the river side if you can.

Great location, the room we had did not have a view but as sleeping or other was the main concern we were not fussed. The mini bar was empty, not sure if they have had problems with people not paying. Glass doors for the bathroom made turning up the TV a must. The Saturday surge pricing was a bit of a surprise. So staying M-F / Sun highly recommend.
