Located just 30 minutes from Florence, in the heart of Mugello, land of the Medici family rich in art and culture, Monsignor della Casa Resort is a magical haven of charm where you can live a special experience surrounded by the wonderful landscapes that only Tuscany can offer. At your disposal you will find a Quiet Pool for adults only, a Family Pool, a tennis court, the Spa for wellness sessions and relaxing facials and body treatments, also by the pool, and the fitness room. The Resort and the surroundings offer a wide variety of experiences: real Tuscan cooking classes, tastings of wine, oil and typical products, pool-side yoga from June to September, hiking, mountain biking and electric biking, Golf courses, tours on a vespa or on racing cars, go-karting, gliding, horseback riding and many activities for children and teenagers... Our restaurant & wine bar "Enoteca del Monsignore" will welcome you in the romantic atmosphere of the olive-trees square under the stars or in front of a real fireplace. You can taste the classics of our land made with local ingredients. Homemade and stuffed pasta, game dishes and exclusive truffle dishes, with unmistakable and genuinely Tuscan aromas. We select organic ingredients, most of them from our kitchen garden, together with the best national wine labels. The Resort is an ideal starting point for trips to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca, Bologna and, for the motoring enthusiasts, to the Ferrari, Lamborghini and Ducati Museums. Mugello Circuit is only 5 minutes away from the Resort.
We had a lovely week at this Monsignor della Casa in the Tuscan hills, surrounded by sunflower fields, olive trees and cypress.. the staff is great, the pool inviting and the apartment (Giotto) spacious with decent beds and matrasses. I might be an idea to check booking.com for the facilities in the apartment. We missed several items in the kitchen(knives, freezer compartment didn’t work) but the staff went out of their way to help out (daily supply of icecubes?). They also supported us in booking opera tickets at Arena di Verona and a horse ride. Pool is great and quiet and the private terrace nice and cool in the shade. One point for improvement….. ;based on the reviews, I expected more from the restaurant menu choice and quality… On the other hand there’s a great Unicoop nearby (12min) that offers all ingredients and good quality products for putting together your own great Italian dishes… Altogether we had a fab time at Monsignor and will certainly be back…

We enjoyed a lovely stay on this working farm run by a hospitable and friendly family. The location is close to Borgo San Lorenzo, from where a regular train service runs to Firenze. It is also very close to the Mugello MotoGP track. Rooms are quite big, with traditional décor and modernized bathrooms. Matteo is very helpful and we enjoyed a delicious traditional dinner cooked by his mother, Daniela, with some local wines and grappa to round it off.

The locanda is a beautifully restored old rustic farmhouse , with parts from 500 to 700 years old. The rooms are very large and tastefully furnished . The four-poster bed is very comfortable! I liked the breakfast in the room, everything was ready on a small table .... Ms. Valeria was very polite and attentive to every need, I highly recommend it to everyone! ,.. The attention and generosity of the reception makes comfortable. The setting of the house is lovely on the side of a small river, and if you love horse riding, there are horses avaiable.

This is a lovely BnB just outside Borgo San Lorenzo. We didn't think we were going to get there but you just keep going along the road until you cant go any further. We had a lovely walk in the surrounding fields and the most amazing dinner with plenty of delicious local/typical food for the area. Our room used to be the old kitchen and some of the features have been left. I couldn't fault this lovely place and the hospitality that was offered to us.

We stayed at Alla Corte di Carla for the Moto Gp last year. We choose this B&B because of the fantastic location, you can walk to the track, but will return because of the hosts, food & accommodations. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. Beautiful rooms and wonderful people. No A/C, but still. The best. Just be ready to eat... a lot!

My friends have made a training with BMW racing moto on the circuit of Mugello at the begin of August and we stayed in Podere Badia. We have enjoyed the stay very much. The pool has given us time to relax and the surrounding nature a good ambiance. We have had a loft for 4 persons and these apartment has a cooking area and a sleeping area on the second floor. In the living room were the other beds. However it was enough space.
