The worst I ever stayed at
Reviewed By Gtimes3To check in you had to go to a plexiglass window. You couldn’t go in as if it was dangerous. The room was filthy…here is the worst part. The bedspread had white stains on it from apparently sex. There were pubic hairs on the sheets next to the pillows. That means they didn’t even put clean bedding on after the previous guests left. They just made the bed. It was supposed to be no smoking but it smelled like an ashtray and the water tasted like lead from a garden hose. It was the worst “hotel” I ever stayed at.

Reviewed By K5692DRuthbThe room itself was nice however we were very disappointed that our group could not use the pool. We specifically book certain hotels for the use of the pool. We were only staying at the hotel one night so when we arrived at around 7 pm we wanted to get the kids in the pool however we were told that it was closed for maintenance but there was no one around. Then it opened at 8pm and closed again by 8:05. There was a confrontation between a guest at the pool and male employee and the male employee immediately closed the pool and kicked all the guests out. Then there was a confrontation between the front desk and the same male employee. Then there was a yelling match between the male employee and another employee. Then the police were called. All of this happened in front of LOTS of children. We were there with several groups of children from all over for a baseball tournament. All the children were not only saddened that they couldn’t use the pool but frightened by the confrontation and police presence. We are all very disappointed. It was an awful experience and made us all feel unwelcome and uneasy.

Great place and value
Reviewed By janisr2022I had a dog event not far from Bordentown. I had stayed here before the the hotel was OK and I wanted to stay at another local hotel. But the price for my dog was more than I wanted to spend. So I decided to stay again and I was pleasantly surprised how clean and updated the room was. (I even went to the manager and thanked him) The staff there couldn’t be any nicer and helpful. I had trouble with my keycard and the manager resolved the problem. While at the dog event, I did tell people there how nice our stay was.

Staff needs to be trained better

A sign is taped on the window as you walk in stating that masks are required in all public space, but most of the staff were not wearing masks. They also gave you the "don't bother me attitude" when we asked for help. Since housekeeping is only done after you check out, understandable with staffing problems, we asked for extra towels. We were given 2 towels and told "that is all we have." No asking if that was sufficient or offering to get more. I don't know if it is a NJ thing but the breakfast was very very basic. This seemed strange because we stayed at HI expresses in Ohio and PA, and they both had the normal breakfast. We would give the place another try, but only when we are out of this pandemic.

Reviewed By C_JeanneQuiet spot with clean room and typical choice hotel amenities. Still no breakfast due to COVID limitations but there is coffee in room and in the entrance available. The room smelled much like men’s cologne, but it was everything fine for a quick stop off the highway. They even sold cold beer at the front desk!

There are other Motels in the area but this is the Cheapest at $59/Night Online BUT – You pay for what you get……. Owner is SUPER Friendly, looks like he lives on-site in back room, Rooms are OK! Mini Fridge, Microwave, TV, Hard Wood Floors, etc. Bathroom TERRIBLE, Stains, Holes in Wall and saw 2 “Bugs” final Night, plus my key wouldn’t work 2nd Night So had to go back to Office & wait instead of going to bed after a long exhausting day. No Maid Service, so No Beds Made or New Towels, so No Tip Left or Needed. Walls paper thin, can hear “EVERYTHING” OK for Adults, Don’t recommend with small Children… Again, You PAY for what you GET! & good if on a tight budget & only there to Sleep!

This place should be condemned
Reviewed By K8969MHjameshThis facility is cheap and easily accessible from I-95. That's where the positives end. The interior/exterior doors were broken smashed and unsecured. The carpets were stained. The "non smoking" hotel all over reeks of smoke. The rooms are barely clean and the bathroom has never been cleaned-- mold and dirt in bathtub. I reached out to management and Agoda-- and Agoda deleted my review and management never replied. Cannot expect a refund. Shameful that the hotel charges for conditions that risk health and safety.
