A disaster of a stay. I hosted a group of 27 people at the hotel. Before the trip, it was impossible to get any replies to our inquiries. The stay itself was ruined my the unfriendly service and, culminating with the hotel manager lecturing us for not remembering our pre-ordered meals (though the hotel had the list). Both the rooms and the food were super expensive. The meals were bland and tasteless. Never again.

Set in the heart of Glencoe, Clachaig Inn is a popular hostelry with a rich mountaineering heritage. Accommodation is provided by 23 en suite bedrooms, most of which enjoy the spectacular mountain views. Clachaig has 3 lively bars award winning bars and specializes in cask conditioned ales and malt whiskey. Food is served throughout the day and the menus use a variety of locally sourced ingredients.
Website advertises food served until 2100, no advance bookings needed. Arrived at 2040 after a days hiking to be told they weren't serving food in the bar, nor outside and that service in the restaurant had closed early. As anyone who knows the area will attest, there are limited other options to eat nearby. This was on the Saturday evening of a bank holiday weekend, Glencoe was filled to the rafters with hikers, I saw at least 6 other people from different groups also being turned away. Totally unacceptable to those who have planned their day to be left high and dry through no fault of their own. If the management had the foresight to put a notice on their website that they would close early other arrangements could have been made.

Luxury wee lodges in a very special setting. Why stay in a hotel bedroom, when you can stay in your very own small hotel!?! Beautiful cosy and romantic: wooden lodges set beside a river, among trees in parkland on a golf course. Each lodge has a private veranda reaching out over the water and most lodges have their own hot tub! Inside, these wee homes are packed with luxuries: en-suite facilities, small galley with microwave, etc, Nespresso coffee machine for a fantastic morning coffee, amazing Egyptian linens.
An adorable little find during our honeymoon trip to Scotland. We had mentioned in our reservation that we would be there to celebrate our honeymoon and we were completely surprised upon arrival. The staff had decorated our pod with rose petals and champagne and even a cake. The pod was super awesome and cozy. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. Would absolutely go back!!

The area itself is central to some of the most spectacular Scottish scenery and with being just 15 miles South of Fort William and 30 miles North of Oban it is the perfect location to explore the endless beautiful areas and activities of the West Highlands. It also stands slightly West of the West Highland Way, with baggage transfers and pick ups available on request. Park View is a modern 3 floor bed & breakfast, furnished in a blend of modern and traditional styles. It is a spacious, bright and airy house consisting of 3 Double rooms, 1 single room and a family room. There is a guest lounge to relax in, where you will find a vast selection of books and games for use during your stay. Or you may like to sample the hospitality of some of the local eateries/bars. There are a couple within a short walk away, The Laroch Restaurant and bar being the closest with delicious, award winning, top quality food and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking beautiful views of the Glen Coe mountain range. To set you up for the day we offer a delicious cooked breakfast using locally sourced produce as much as possible. As well as, porridge, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, and continental selection of meats, cheeses etc. We do our best to cater for any specialist dietary requirements, (please advise on booking if this is required)
The host was very friendly, but for this price we had expected a bit more to be honest. The shower was great and the beds were nice, but the bathroom was very small and the rooms were small and a little simple compared to the other B&B's we stayed at, despite this being the most expensive B&B of our holiday. The curtains also let through a lot of light, so we woke up a bit earlier than we had wanted to. It's also quite difficult to find a place to eat near this B&B. Not much the host can do about this, but it's good to know beforehand.

Luxury & eco-friendly accomodation in idyllic log cabins, nestled at the foot of Beinn a Bheithir and overlooking Loch Leven and the Pap of Glencoe. Enjoy superking size bedding, freestanding bathtub, relax with the sound of the stream, the singing of the birds... and enjoy an unforgettable stay in a truly enchanting place.
I booked a single night stay, mid-week in September, to welcome my friend visiting from overseas and do some walking in Glen Coe. On the drive up, my friend received a text from NHS Track and Trace notifying her that she had been exposed to COVID and instructing her to immediately go into quarantine. Worried and upset, we immediately contacted Aos Si to explain the situation and see if it would be possible to rebook for a future night. We were told that if we forwarded them the communication from NHS as proof, they could rebook us. We thought this was fair and forwarded the NHS messages, but have since been ghosted and ignored after multiple attempts at outreach. I can only assume that they do not intend to honor their word. I know this pandemic has been hard on the hospitality industry and I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but it was incredibly disappointing to be treated this way when we had no choice but to follow the government mandate. Clearly the bottom line is the most important thing to management here. I do not recommend supporting this business.

Travelled 7 hours to the lodges to be told 1 hour before arriving that our booking was apparently cancelled 1 month prior. It wasn’t! We were given the opportunity to postpone the booking or to continue if possible. We decided to continue and this was accepted by the lodges. We checked in via booking.com to receive a snotty message in reply saying it was illegal to travel (it wasn’t) and that it was cancelled. Well if they had cancelled why didn’t they give us our money back then? We asked this question and had a reply of “you paid booking.com, they have your money so take it up with them”! I would never ever speak to potential clients the way these people spoke to my fiancé and I. We called them 13 times to try and speak to them but ignored all our calls and messages. We booked here because we heard good things. Clearly we were mistaken.

Perched above Loch Linnhe and almost afloat, our SeaBeds lodges live in a world of their own. With panoramic views from loch to sky and an infinity hot tub peering over the sea, SeaBeds is the perfect place to disappear from reality and reconnect. Design-led interiors and luxury touches throughout create a truly magnificent setting. Let the world pass you by as you disappear into this romantic Highland hideaway and enjoy a magical break in total seclusion and comfort.
What a fantastic two-night stay! The lodges are very well designed and fitted out to a high standard throughout, including high-spec kitchen equipment and toiletries. The view was beautiful and the hot tub made the stay a real luxury (with a glass of prosecco of course!). The reception team were so helpful, including Rebecca who always went above and beyond to help with any queries we had. The breakfast was lovely -- especially the granola pots with fresh yoghurt and berries. Thank you to all the team for a fantastic stay!

Ballachulish Hotel looks forward to welcoming you on your visit to the West Highlands of Scotland.
Due to last minute changes by our airline, we first thought we would arrive early, but ended up arriving right at midnight. We arrived and were greeted by an open welcoming door and a nice gentleman waiting to check us in. The next morning we awoke to pigeons cooing in the rafters and a gorgeous view. Made me smile. Breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only regret was we only had two nights to spend there. Would love to return someday.

Just returned home today after staying at the Ardno guest house. First class accommodation, fantastic views across Loch Etive and great room with very comfortable bed. The owners Robert and Morag couldn't be more helpful. A great base to explore the Glen Coe munros. We'll definitely be back.
