The Arrecife Gran Hotel & Spa situated in the centre of the island with its magnificent El Reducto Beach at its feet, combines luxury with comfort and good service. Its excellent location next to the historical town and the gastronomic and commercial zone of Arrecife, only 5 minutes away from the airport and the port, makes this hotel one of the best of Lanzarote. The Arrecife Gran Hotel & Spa has also got an exclusive Spa, ideal for relaxing in the water circuit or for enjoying one of the fantastic treatments.
Fantastic hotel. Decor and cleanliness were impeccable. Staff all friendly and welcoming. Little touches like remembering what wine you’d ordered the night before, level of service you cannot put a value on. Perfectly located next to beach, showers on the beach & shops close by for drinks etc. Pool area is lovely overlooking the bay & we used the health spa as well which was stunning. The beach is essentially a lagoon so very safe for swimmers/kayakers etc. No hotel gym but were advised there’s one adjoining that guests can use. Local restaurants look lovely but we ate at the hotel. Food was exceptional and something different every night. Omelettes are stunning. Bar on 17th floor has stunning view of the mountains & perfect to watch sunset Would highly recommend.

Very affordable hotel! Great view of the beach and very clean, maids come in daily! Mattresses could be better but overall great hotel, perfect location. Trattoria Amore Mio Italian restaurant just down the street is wonderful food! Would be good if the room had a kettle. Iron available at reception. Very quiet part of arrecife, no clubs but ideal to chill out. Not touristy, mainly Spanish people around. Will be back again!

This Hostal is located in the Old Town, in the popular Charco de San Ginés area of Arrecife with its array of bars, shops and restaurants. It's about 10minutes walk from the airport bus stop. As its 'Hostal/Pension' designation suggests, it offers basic but perfectly adequate accommodation. The check-in process was made easy and straightforward by welcoming, friendly staff. The room overlooked an inner courtyard, and was clean and comfortable: A wardrobe/shelving space for clothing, a small collapsible table and 2 stools, a wall mounted fan, mini fridge and small TV. The bathroom was clean and the decent sized shower offered a plentiful supply of high pressure hot water. The hostal has no elevator, so rooms can only be accessed by stairs. There is a well stocked communal kitchen/dining area which guests can use to prepare and eat food. There's also a pleasant sun terrace with tables and chairs. There's a mini-supermarket almost next door. If you're looking for somewhere cheap, cheerful and in a great location, this hostal ought to be just fine.

MAGMA Rooms is an accommodation that has two floors and five rooms, each with a different and original decoration, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV and private bathroom, as well as common areas that consist of lounge, dining room and pool with outdoor equipment for relaxation. It is located in Playa Honda, 3 km from the airport, in a quiet area only 7 min. walking from the beach and 3 min. from a shopping center with shops, supermarket, cinema, banks, pharmacy and restaurants. It is the perfect place to spend a stay away from the crowds of tourist areas and with a strategic location very well communicated, to comfortably visit the different points of interest that the island of Lanzarote has. MAGMA Rooms offers its guests the warmth of a friendly service, associated with an excellent professional service, including continental breakfast, daily cleaning of the rooms and the possibility of arranging transfers, excursions, massages and bicycle rental for an additional cost.
What a disappointment! This place is managed by a zombie, with whom we barely crossed eyes. There is automated entry, from the street and from the garden - provided, that is, that you can enter the correct passcode. It is rather noisy from departing airplanes and from a nearby bar. Best to avoid!

Hi all, I want you to know from the off I think this is a great place and I've had unreal service. My extended review is either to help you or help the property with a snag list etc. Ill list as I'm writing this whilst I'm here so will add too. Not in any useful order. We stayed in number 54, myself and my son, 4. 1) this is a romantic place, there was fake rose petals under the sofa and the hot tub turns off at 7pm. Im not suggesting anything. 2) its a beautiful place, for the money you can get this for online the square footage is unparalleled. I've spent more in turkey in a tiny room. 3) its made for 2 people, yet one bottle of greeting water.... 4) the fridge doesnt have a freezer bit, it would he great if did, ice and or ice.lollies (4 year old) 5) it would be good if the place had a welcome pack like, wifi code, hot tub, local shop, taxi place etc. I.mean its fairly easily detected. But a late arrival and a tiny sign near door isnt enough, sometimes....There is no reception or anything but as said emails and calls are pretty quick, you collect your keys in a lock box outside the apartment. 6) the solarium door locks itself behind you, the tiny sign says this, luckily the lack of air con meant window open I posted my 4 year old in. 7) The air con didnt work, we arrived on Monday 9pm. Tuesday reported by email, help arrived in 15 mins, did the usual, not being thick check. Said it would be fixed that day. It wasnt but the fan part was. Needed regassing. Fixed Wednesday. Really really good looking after. Its not a massive air con unit and theyll turn it off on you.......but it makes a difference at night. The first 2 nights we both woke several times sweating buckets. Best way is to shut the kitchen window and door on super hot days as solarium and cooker chimney are letting hot air in. 8) washer works! Airer in Lanzarote will dry your towels in an hour. 9) solarium is shared. 10) steal a couple of sachets of salt and pepper from airport as the place doesnt supply, no biggy, just advice. 11) do NOT prepay for a taxi from airport, quoted 30-40 euros like me?, local taxi os 10-15 euros. Note they only pick up in their own areas. Imagine you stay in Manchester and want to.go to liverpool, theyll take you but will not pick you up. Liverpool will have to. 12) stuff is pretty cheap, I brought some asda tablets in hand luggage. Its not liquid....and probably cheaper but genuinely a cheaper box is about 2-3 euros. 13) always pay attractions in Euro on card, they'll ask and its dearer.... 14) at 54 walk straight up the street about 4-500m in front of you until the end and look right, there's a local shop there selling slices of cheese, ham, crisps, water, beer. My first shopping list would be; Washing liquid and fab softeners; €2.80 Matches or lighter/candles. €3 Water. Cleaning spray. 15) if you're susceptible to light in rooms, bring a blindfold as there are light domes which are great during day.... 16) they can add a childs bed but its open plan. If I wasnt single theyd be as much action happening. 17) theres an iron, a proper iron and a hairdryer....you don't need your travels. 18) smart tv doesnt have pay per view that I could see but as any smart tv it has Netflix and prime. May be worth a free month. Most people will be out but by later evening I was in with the nipper. 19) It doesnt have an oven, I wasted money on pizza. I asked and they said its the microwave its same device, so I thought one of the new systems that can be table top and microwave. Its not its just a microwave. 20) bring an adaptor if you have laptop etc the room has two usb charging point near bed for phones. 21) A cooker hood light wouldnt go amiss even just a push light. 22) 2 frying pans, no spatula or prongs (for accommodation provider). 23) the cleaning is hit and miss, see pics but later learned theres no cleaning service included in accommodation. 24) I reported a weird smell in the kitchen around half way through stay and once again the customer service was impeccable..guy was at the door within the hour. They unfortunately couldn't smell anything. I still can and its very off.putting for a kitchen. My son can smell but he may just be agreeing.

Hotel located at the seaside, in the center of Arecife, it is ideal for business and for anyone who wants to know Lanzarote and the local life of the area in a different way.
I stayed alone, room was clean and comfortable with a small balcony. Staff went out of their way to accommodate me on various little things. Has a laundrette service with coins which worked super well. Very good breakfast. Great location with small restaurants all around. Would strongly recommend.

Finding an ideal budget friendly pension (b&b) in Arrecife does not have to be difficult. Welcome to Pension Cardona, a nice option for travelers like you. A 24 hour front desk, express check-in and check-out, and baggage storage are some of the conveniences offered at this pension (b&b). For those interested in checking out popular landmarks while visiting Arrecife, Pension Cardona is located a short distance from CIC El Almacen (0.1 mi) and Casa de la Cultura Agustin de la Hoz (0.3 mi). While you’re here, be sure to check out some of the steakhouses, including Barbacana Bar & Grill, Asadero Titerroy, and Asador El Cochino 33, all of which are a short distance from Pension Cardona. There is no shortage of things to do in the area: explore popular history museums such as La Casa Amarilla. Pension Cardona puts the best of Arrecife at your fingertips, making your stay both relaxing and enjoyable.
To say that Pension Cardona is a disgrace would be a compliment. I have stayed in hotels and Hostal’s all over the World and this is without a doubt the worse place I have ever had the displeasure of staying in. The place is filthy, there are no cleaning services, it’s advertised Wi-Fi which doesn’t work. The “Kitchen” consists of a kettle and microwave that doesn’t work and cockroaches. Our room stank of smoke even though it’s a “non smoking hotel” The staff are unbelievably rude, some claim they don’t speak English however these same staff had no problem speaking fluent English to American Guests....... Strange! Trust me if you are going to stay in Arrecife, Lanzarote then this is Place you do not want to go near........ ever!

Hotel Villa Vik is nestled in the residential area of Playa del Cable, this elegant villa in Lanzarote was completely renovated in 2007, combining a modern design with classic touches with the aim of providing a warm, agreeable environment.
Just a few things better would be kettle in room Was only one person at a time to serve and deal with everything Not enough brollies around the pool and breakfast could have been better choice of cereals and not packaged jams butter and pots of yogurt should have been homemade

This may very well be the best equipped holiday apartment we have ever stayed in (and that have been a few...)! From the extensive and helpful "house-guide" document to the kitchen supplies to some basics in the fridge (milk, water, soft drink) up to the beach equipment like a cooler box, towels and sand toys for kids! Not to mention the tasteful furniture and decoration - we felt instantly at home! The two large terraces are a great plus and both get their share of sun but also some shade. Even if it got a bit cooler in the evenings (spent the Easter time in April there) we had every meal outside to enjoy the great atmosphere! Even though we did not meet our hosts in person during our relatively short stay, they were most attentive and instantly answered any question we had in excellent English. Thanks! Parking space was never an issue during our stay, not sure about high season in summer, but I guess it should be manageable. The grocery shop is in walking distance and offered everything we needed, on the other side of the highway there is a large shopping area which we did not visit though. Our son liked the kids toy box and his luxurious big sofa bed. As anywhere on the Canaries, the next playground for kids is not too far away and the beach was also quite nice (but maybe not among the top 5 of the island). As we spent our day exploring the area with our rental car, this was not our biggest focus so we did not get to spend too much time there anyway. Definitely recommended both for families or couples, such a beautiful place! If you are sensitive to airplane sounds, this may not be your place to stay, as Playa Honda is right next to the airport and from the smaller terrace you can watch the planes depart. As far as we could tell, they fly until about 10 pm or maybe a little later, but not during the night. For us, this was not a problem at all, but if you are a light sleeper, maybe bring some earplugs just in case...
