My wife and I decided to spend one night at Il Paradiso del Re as we passed through the Marche region, based on the fact that the accommodation was a little different and the TripAdvisor reviews were very favourable. Firstly, we input into the GPS, the latitude / longitudes co-ordinates of Il Paradiso del Re (as provided by Booking.com) and were surprisingly taken to a location called the Piccolo Ranch, where we enquired with a gentleman called Angelo over the whereabouts of Il Paradiso del Re. He informed us we were at the correct location for check-in and we could follow him to our accommodation approximately 400 metres up the road. On arrival, we were greeted by this lovely 13th century small restored castle and taken into this beautifully medieval themed dining room where we offered a complimentary glass of wine (as well as a bottle) and then offered the opportunity of having photos taken with my wife and I cloaked out as the queen and king in period costumes, which was a lovely welcoming touch. From there, we were shown up two flights of stairs to our double room. It was just beautiful and incorporated a lovely medieval theme with the room being furnished with antique and rustic furniture and incorporating lovely wall murals. In addition, the views from our windows over the picturesque countryside were stunning and later that evening we took in a beautiful sunset. The room was unbelievably spacious (as was the bathroom) and besides having a very comfortable bed (which included a massage device) had virtually everything one could wish for i.e. also had a lounge, small table /chairs, air-conditioning / heater, coffee making facilities, small bar fridge and Sky TV. The free wi-fi also worked without any problems, whilst the bathroom included a lovely Vichy shower. For our evening meal, we dined at the Piccolo Ranch just down the road which is also run by Angelo and enjoyed a very pleasant dining experience. Speaking of Angelo, he was so unbelievably accommodating, as we also had our mother travelling with us who was not well and without any hesitation he especially made up a soup for my wife and I to take back to my mother in her room. Breakfast was also at the Piccolo Ranch and basically comprised just pastries which may be ideal to some people but to our mind was somewhat disappointing, as having travelled extensively throughout Europe over many years and being used to a more European breakfast in many other parts of Italy, felt there was room for improvement to cater for various differing taste buds which could be done at minimal cost. Notwithstanding the comment over breakfast, we had a most wonderful short stay at Il Paradiso del Re and would have absolutely no hesitation in both recommending and staying again in the future.

La Corte del Gusto, Holiday Villa and Luxury Apartments in le Marche Italy. With an infinity pool offers peace and tranquillity in a breathtaking 360 degree hill top setting. La Corte del Gusto is the ideal destination for travelers who are looking for a serene and relaxing environment in touch with nature in an excellent location to discover the beauty of the Marche region. A wonderful location in the hills of the Marche region, just 45 minutes from Ancona Airport and near the beautiful hill town of Arcevia and the renowned Frasassi Caves and Fabriano. It is only 40 km from the beaches at Senigallia and just over an hour by car to the Conero Riviera. Completely restored with careful attention paid to using as many as the original materials as possible, the interior is finished in wood and the exterior is finished in stone maintaining the traditional character of the vintage building.
Had the most amazing stay at La Corte Del Gusto, peaceful and beautiful overlooking the hills of Italy. Everything was spot on, also had a very helpful guide of local restaurants and activities. Special shout-out to Aldo, the most wonderful host! Will definitely be back

The farmhouse “La Cerqua” was born from the will of a daughter to maintain and continue the agricultural activity of her father and grandfather that started before him. It was carried on for years with a lot of dedication. The country house arises from the hills of Marche and just a near distance to the sea. "La Fattoria", "l'Orto", "Il Campo Grande" and "Il Laghetto" are a family apartments for 4 guests with a private entrance, a matrimonial bed and a bunk bed, a kitchen with induction hob, fridge, independent bathroom, air-conditioning, satellite TV and Wifi. "Il Forno" and "La tartufaia" are rooms for 2 guests with a private entrance, double bed, independent bathroom, air-conditioning, satellite TV and Wifi, minifridge. In the structure there are also a wonderful swimming pool and a little gym, both reserved for our customers.
We loved everything about this place: from the spacious and clean room and bathroom to the pool with fantastic view, and the hospitality of the hosting family. Perfect place to stay during your holiday in Le Marche.

“IL RUSTICO” rises to 450 meters s.l.m. and from it one can catch a glimpse of the medieval castles of Palazzo, Piticchio, St. Pietro and Loretello and of the ancient villages that characterize the inland Marches. Gardens, pastures and fruit trees are the right frame of this uncontaminated paradise. The Agriturismo (farm holiday) is located in a strategic position and offers the possibility to reach easily the “Velvet Beach” of Senigallia and natural beauty of the “Caves Frassassi” (Genga).“Il RUSTICO” offers accommodation in rooms with private bathroom, terrace, television and safe service, has an outdoor swimming pool suitable for all ages and is free for guests. It offers space and equipment for conferences. Outside open spaces for recreation of children.Everything is immerged in a natural environment where "the line of vision is the beginning and end of heaven and earth.
Food excellent, service excellent and welcoming, venue is in a great position for a view over the Marche towards Umbria. Clearly a popular restaurant as it was busy even on a Tuesday night. Food was subtle and flavours perfectly nuanced. House wine was excellent flavoured local Verdicchio. Complementary home-made Limoncello at the end of the meal was a perfect end to a good evening.

Located between the sea (25 km from Senigallia) and mountains, Antico Borgo is born in the hills and countryside of the Marche, a few steps from Castiglioni, one of the castles Arcevia. We will close from 08/2017 until 05/2018 for improvements to serve better our guests.
We book at Antico Borgo based on very little information. We love Marche, I saw the proximity to Frasassi grottos, and I like the conversation with the host. What i found was a little treasure. The owners (Fabrizio and Samira) are delightful. This is an old farmhouse charmingly refurbished to become a rustic B&B with all conveniences including AC and swimming pool, in the gentle and green hills of Marche. The pleasant surprises kept on coming as we discovered that Samira is a fantastic hostess and Fabrizio is a very talented chef, whose work has been recognized internationally. We enjoyed two of the best dinners we have had in recent years. Fabrizio adds flare and imagination to traditional Italian dishes, using only the best ingredients (his pistacchio are flown in from Sicily. his beef comes directly from a farm in Piedmont). Being "foodies", this was for us the perfect icing on an already beautiful cake. We highly recommend Antico borgo to anyone looking for an authentic "agritourism" experience at its best.

Enjoy your stay in Arcevia!
Great find in Le Marche. Wonderful hosts and attention to detail impeccable in the property and service. Gio and Christina are so kind, helpful, attentive and are true artisans both in their achievement of restoring the property (originally a convent) and delivering a first class service to their guests. They have sympathetically used materials and dressed the property to reflect its history with an amazing outcome. We spent 2 days there in November and were provided with itineraries and recommendations to make the best use of our short time there. This turned out to be a wonderful base to explore and a sanctuary to return home to. Christina sells beautiful bespoke shirts, ties, blouses, table runners, cushions and many more items. We will return as we only scratched the surface of this area and their home was the ideal retreat. Thank you both

Arriving at Borgo Bonaventura you are graced with a bed and breakfast full of character. The architecture and decor is traditional and stunning, not to mentioned it is nestled away in nature and beautiful greenery. The owners are very hospitable and the food is phenomenal. There are a couple of rooms that each have their own colour and style. The rooms ave very tidy and the beds are comfortable. I hope to return here one day and I would recommend this hidden gem to anyone that wants to escape and truly relax.
