Located on Main Street, adjacent to the Alma Fishermen's Wharf, the Parkland Village Inn is a short walk from the beach and main shops, and only five minutes away from the Fundy National Park entrance gate. Guests love the spaciousness and convenience of our standard and deluxe inn rooms and our two-room ocean-view suites. They are perfect for those who want to be close to everything and yet have room to spread out and relax.
Very impressed. Very friendly staff Excellent lobster stuffed chicken. They did not scrimp on quantity and superb in taste Will definitely return in future. Stay on bay side and enjoyed watching effect of tide on fishing boats in harbour

This little spot was a gem. Myself, my little dog and four friends from NB spent two fascistic days and nights here. Alma is a beauty of a spot and we all would recommend the Alpine; clean and right in the heart of the town!

Wide open view of the upper reaches of the Bay of Fundy. About 5-6 mins south of Hopewell Rocks along Route 114. Very friendly proprietor. We were in a very clean, comfortable and quiet downstairs room (he said the upstairs rooms were even quieter). Would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone visiting Hopewell Rocks! Sat with another couple at continental breakfast and felt like good friends by the end of the meal.

We loved our stay a Fundy Rocks. No bells or whistles, but a charming peaceful place with great staff. The room was spacious, clean, and comfy.. The restaurant serves home cooked decent food. The location is also very close to the Hopewell Rocks, we were able to come back and forth between high and low tides (the entry passed are valid for 48 hours). A shout out to the owner Wayne, you made our trip extra special.

This beautiful manor, built in 1854, boasts 8 bedrooms, 5 of which are guests rooms (all with en-suite), 8 bathrooms, 3 living rooms, a wonderful dinning room. The original woodwork in the Inn as been very well maintained. Amazing 10ft, ceilings, the list goes on.
We stayed at The Maplegrove on the first night of our vacation. Everything was wonderful. We had reserved dinner there, since we knew we wouldn't want to get back in the car to go out again once we'd arrived, and the meal was excellent. We were the only ones there, so it was like having our own personal chef: great food, friendly conversation, just the right amount of attention. And Jeff really is an excellent cook! Our room was really nice: well appointed, comfortable, charming. The public rooms of the inn are also nicely done--it's clear that Jeff and Sonya have put a lot of loving care and attention into every aspect of the place. We slept very well, and then started the next day with a tasty homemade breakfast (poached home-grown eggs and bacon on homemade bagels!) and directions to a beautiful lookout spot. To top things off, we forgot a couple of things in the room, and Jeff hopped in his car and chased us down (luckily he knew we were following his directions to the scenic lookout!) to give them back to us--talk about service!!! We hope to return to the Maplegrove Inn at some point, and we definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area of Fundy National Park and the Hopewell Rocks (which, by the way, are absolutely worth the visit!).

Both suites are furnished with contemporary fine art and craft .The Artisan Suites have 4 star Canada Select Rating. Spectacular view of the Petitcodiac River. We spent one night at this lovely B&B just a few minutes for the Hopewell Rocks. Our room was a full large suite under the gift store and it was very spacious and lovely. Although there was no breakfast, there were muffins, coffee, tea etc. in the suite and it was very nice. The location is perfect and the view was awesome.

Suites situated on the shore in the midst of a fishing village at the gateway to Fundy National Park
Our daughter was camping in Fundy Park (yes in April) so we wanted to stay near by. We booked directly with the owners and not through the online site. Room was very large. Table and chair for two. Dishes, bar fridge and microwave. Queen Bed was very comfortable with nice pillows and linens. Nice electric fireplace and large tv. Bathroom was very modern and clean. They supplied toiletries and a hairdryer. You can also get access to a kitchen if needed. I was surprised to see other cars in the parking lot in the morning, we didn’t hear anyone else coming in. There’s a fire pit and bbq for communal use. We walked to the restaurant next door. Great lobster rolls! Then strolled the beach. Only complaint was it was too quiet. I had to turn the table fan on during the night....

We have eight quiet comfortable rooms with various bed configurations to meet the needs of travellers. We are in a county setting centrally located 20 Minutes from Hopewell Rocks and 30 Minutes from Fundy National Park near Mary's Point Hemispheric Shore Bird Reserve. Each room has its own private bath in the guest room along with a blow dryer, soap, shampoo, lotion ,shower cap and robes for your convenience. An ironing board and iron is also provided. You are served a hot breakfast each morning. Free, spacious parking is provided for your convenience and comfort. With all the various points of interest a two day stay is hardly enough to see and experience the worlds highest tides and walk on the ocean floor as well as all the other activities available. Built as a retirement home for a prominent local family in 1875 we have operated as a Heritage Inn-Bed and Breakfast since 1983.
Well, with tourist season in full bloom we were in need of a place to rest our heads. We were lucky to find a great hostess and lovely b&b. Mary has been running this b&b forever and we can't believe she keeps it in tip top shape. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was great with bacon, eggs, muffins, and a beverage. We had a chance to mingle with an English couple, a Parisian couple, and another couple from Ct. in the USA. This was really a nice find with a gracious host and well appointed furnishings.

Charming family-run inn located in the small fishing village of Alma. Located directly across the street from the active Alma fishing harbour, rooms with Bay views overlooking the harbour are available. We offer free wifi throughout the property and free guest parking is available at the back of our building. This property previously run as a B&B, has recently been updated with newly renovated ensuite bathrooms, furnishings, and much more to make your stay with us that much more comfortable. Being such a small accommodations (with only 8 rooms) we strive to bring our guests that "home away from home" feeling while they're staying with us. Our inn also offers a guest television room, great for guests traveling that are more social or are traveling with family members staying in other rooms. While we do not have 24-hour front desk service, there is always someone on our property looking forward to answering any questions our guests may have, as well as give great travelling tips and suggestions. A contact phone number is given to all guests to reach a staff member when no one is at the front desk. All restaurants and shops located in Alma are within a short walking distance of the Captain's inn, along with the Alma beach and Fundy National Park. We have many great restaurants in our small area that will be eager to serve you breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We also have a bakeshop, 2 seafood markets, a micro-brewery, a café, and a general store located in the village. The staff at Captain's Inn looks forward to greeting you during your upcoming visit.
Before going to Alma, I read a number of the reviews set out below. They sounded good and so I booked at the Captain's Inn. Sadly, the Inn bore little resemblance to the favourable reviews. Whilst I would not use quite the same language as Frederic T (see below) I share his sentiments. The service was dreadful. Like Frederik's room, our rooms were not touched during our stay and so we had to make our own bed. That was not a great hardship but other things were more irritating. For example, we wanted to play cards one evening but the light in the public area with tables was poor owing to a bulb having blown. We mentioned this the following morning and we were astonished when the response was a shrug and a comment to the effect that the area with the tables is not often used. There was no apology or any suggestion that the bulb would be replaced (and it wasn't!). Frederic is also right about the breakfasts. I really don't understand the owner's comment below regarding the property being an inn not a B&B. We stayed in several Maritime Province inn's and they all provided breakfasts that were superior to that provided by the Captain's Inn (which is simply a matter of "go to the kitchen and get it - indeed, find it - yourself"). Put simply, don't assume that this property is up to the standard of many other inns in the Maritimes: it isn't.
