In a small, romantic place called ABTENAU (in the district of "Radochsberg" - about 7km away from the city and about 50km away from the city of Salzburg) does our lovely furnished Apartmenthouse invite you, which is rated with three "Edelweiss" (like stars in a hotel), to kick back and relax. Enjoy the breathtaking view from our balcony in a beautiful mountain scenery in the country - away from the stresses of everyday life. A cozy atmosphere and personal service are services which are very important for us.In about 40´minutes you are in the city of Salzburg, Hallstatt , nearby lakes or the other destinations nearby. Hiking and recovery is possible excellent in our rural town. And children are always welcome everywhere and anyway - that's why there are so many offers in our environment. In summer and in winter there are plenty of excursions for all ages.

The balcony is an absolute great place to simply sit... and watch... because the view is like a painting, changing from minute to minute... This is a place where you can relax completly, a place where you can forget time,... You do need a car to get into the real world below ;-) but that is only when you want of course... near Halstatt, Salzburg, Lammerklamm, Abtenau,... Friendly owners, swimming pool for the children, trampoline, swing,... You really do not need more for a super stay in the beatiful Salzburgerland area.. Go and find out yourself!

Reviewed By Tanja LWe are returningguests at this lovely hotel. The service at check-in, restaurants and bars were fast and very polite. Everybody is friendly! 5-course dinner was lovely. The poolarea is clean and relaxing. We stayed in panorama-suite and for oyr family of 3 it was perfect! Thankyou again Gutjahr!

Very satisfying
Reviewed By lordcharlesWe spent a week staying in Hotel Moisl. Everything was just fine. Room was large enough and the bed was comfortable. One problem they don’t have 80cm x 40cm bed pillows. Which we manage to get in most European Hotels. Room was clean with a separate toilet. Breakfast was good with more on offer than many other hotels we have been to. The evening meal was excellent with a large salad buffet over 12 choices daily. The whole place functions well because the owners are there watching and working too. Their wellness spa and garden area are of a high standard. The spa is decorated in a most attractive fashion as is the whole hotel. Service and personnel friendly and helpful. Just a short walk to the town square where there is twice a week music entertainment. Good daily public transportation to Salzburg free with the tourist card. All round very satisfactory and recommendable.

Absolutely lovely Hotel, We really enjoyed our stay here
Reviewed By Maria RWe stayed here for 3 nights and got to spend our time in the lovely room on the third floor. The views were magical and the bed was super comfortable. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was so cosy and nice to spend the evenings in and the breakfast was just perfect. Our son really enjoyed the huge yard and all the toys. We will recommend this place to family and friends and hope to be back soon.

Reviewed By Goldfish2018My partner and I stayed for 3 nights. We had a wonderful visit. Hostess was just lovely and so helpful. Our room was clean and a good size. En suite was well presented with an excellent shower! We were lucky enough to have a balcony view of the mountains and the church. Every morning we opened the curtain was a different beautiful view! Continental breakfast was lovely. Loads of meat,cheese and bread rolls including a boiled egg! Pot of coffee too! A truely beautifully place to stay. Clean, friendly and gorgeous views. Highly recommended.

Best place ever for Winther holiday
Reviewed By 798steenhWeisses Roessel is simply the best place for a skiing holiday. “Gemütlichkeit” combined with a real nice atmosphere, nice people and good genuine Austrian food, makes this hotel something really special. Abtenau is for sure not the largest ski area in the world, but only 15 minutes away by car or bus, you find Dacstein West, which is a good and challenging ski resort for most skiers. Ristorante Cavallo is a part of the Gasthof, and offer the best pizzas in Europe (not kidding!

Wonderful,authentic austrian guesthouse in the heart of nature
Reviewed By AlinaC150We had a wonderful experience at Haus Pendl - it is located in the heart of nature, in a lovely village, 50 meters distance to an outdoor spa, with a fantastic view over the mountains. The host Maria is fantastic, she prepares a lovely breakfast, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfy and the location is suitable for exploring Salzburgerland. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend it!
