Naga to Panicuason Day Trip — I went on a Thursday morning — If taking public transport, take the Panicuason jeep infront of Hong’s Entrrprises (right in the middle of city center; find in Google maps) — Jeep waiting time is at least 30 minutes; the jeepney needs to be full (of passengers) before it leaves the terminal — trip is approximately 45 minutes; one jeep has 26-30 passengers so be prepared to get squeezed; fare is P25 one way — tell the driver to drop you off at Panicuason hot spring; it’s beside the highway with a signage — pay P200 entry fee at resort entrance beside highway; it’s 1.3 km from the highway to main resort — if you feel the 5 minute motorbike trip at P40 one way is a rip off, be ready for a hike although most of it is downhill; from the resort going back to the highway, the hike therefore is more uphill and therefore more intense; not recommended for senior citizens and children — the hike is 15-20 minutes one way, not an hour. I know the timing better than the other reviewer as I actually hiked the entire route — if you’re paying just the entrance fee, you’ll have no table and chairs to dump your stuff at the resort. Keep your belongings safe by keeping an eye on them all the time. Bring them near the pools where you swim. — the shower and changing room is not convenient which near the entrance/ exits — bring slippers/ flip flops! I made a mistake of not bringing one. The pools to the shower/ changing rooms are not connected by smooth pavement so tough luck if you didn’t bring any as you need to step barefoot on the painful gravel — the warm/hot water pools is on the side of the mountains while the freezing cold water is on the other side — going back to the city means waiting for the jeep by the highway which take as long as 30 minutes Now to the things I like: — beautiful greenery and lush forest — well-maintained pools — clean and hygienic area — polite and attentive staff — affordable price for a real hot spring (not just warm water like in Los Baños) — visitors have mentioned water becomes dark from silt at the bottom being disturbed. Not the case now as when I visited, the floor pools are all cemented — highly recommend! You can soak in the pools and feel relaxed even if it’s noon. Just find the one with tree shade. Suggestions to improve: — I noticed the resort is beside a cliff so abseiling and rock climbing can be added as sports; I have a sports certificate for both and I know a nice, challenging cliff when I see one! — For management: for tourists who don’t bring slippers, please connect the main walkway to the shower/ changing rooms. Walking thru the pebbles is painful

Puning Hot Spring & Restaurant is the thermal springs along Sacobia River where temperatures range from 40 degrees to 70 degrees. The surrounding area looks like burning furnace as smoke endlessly billows from mountain crevices. Puning Hot Spring & Spa is a unique place to relax, meditate, and explore the grandeur of rock formation made by nature. Amidst those awesome lahar rock formation that will definitely captivate your imagination, you can also experience the healing effect of the therapeutic bath from the warm thermal spring of Mt. Puning Hot Spring is located in Angeles City Pampanga. “Puning,” or Mother Nature in Mag-antsi, the native language spoken by the Aetas in Mabalacat, Pampanga.

Instead of going to malls, we decided to spend our 1st christmas as a family at a hotspring. December breeze at Quezon is cold plus the rainy weather so the Mainit Hot Spring is a perfect compliment. Our son is 4 months old but he enjoyed the water a lot. The entrance fee is P90, it will be P100 by feb 2018. The cottages near the pool was already full since there were other families that spent their christmas at mainit, good thing was we were allowed to stay near the pool without a cottage which was actually advantageous for my husband and me. We would just bring our things to where we were at so we dont to worry about our valuables. Their operating hours is from 7am to 4pm. If you want to enjoy this place you would have to go off season or weekdays.

We had a fairly large group with kids from age 2-25 and everyone had a great time here! I read other reviews before going and they were quite accurate and gave me a good sense of the place. Bring mosquito repellant, water shoes and towels then prepare to enjoy! The photo ops are spectacular so bring a water camera or a waterproof phone bag. My favourite was the large warm pool - just delightful! If you stay over the little cabins are very nicely outfitted and comfortable. Enjoy Hidden Valley, a super easy day trip from Manila.

A great place to see all the beauty of Ifugao and Hungduan village. The hot spring is a nice reward after a 30-45 minute hike from main road. There is a small area for soaking. The water temperature is "controlled" by letting in cold water from the nearby river. There's a small shower area and a small changing area if you need to change clothes. If you already paid at the tourism center, you don't have to pay the entrance fee when you get to the hot spring as long as you show your receipt/s and the tour guides are never charged entrance fee. This is a must see and a trip to Banaue will not be complete without experiencing Bogyah hot spring.
