Right in the middle of the historic center a family run guest house is situated inside an early 17th century traditional house with a cooling basin and orange trees in the yard. It has private, double, triple rooms and dormitories. Iranian breakfast is included. Traditional homemade dinner on demand. New shower facilities and western toilets. Amazing view from the rooftop.
Really great hostel with very clean toilets, comfortable beds and a beautiful inner courtyard where you can relax. The wifi was exceptionally good and the breakfast was very tasty. The manager Mo is super friendly and will help you with all aspects of your trip in Yazd. We can only recommend. Especially for bicycle tourists, as we could store our bicycles in the courtyard.

Oasis Hostel is located in the center of YAZD’s Old Town. The beautifully restored historic building has a classic central courtyard garden with a basin, cooling the atmosphere in YAZD hot climate. It is used as a community area. Like most historic houses, it offers a variety of rooms on three basement levels. These “SARDABS” are well tempered throughout the year. A “QANAT” even supplies rooms and courtyards with fresh water basins. Room prices range from 25 USD for a single room to 60 USD for a four person room. Sleeping is on mattresses. Free tea is of course served at all times. Most of YAZD’s major sights are within walking distance of the hostel, including the beautiful Masjed Jameh Mosque, the Amir Chakhmaq Hosseinieh or the Mausoleum of Saint Sayyed Roknaddin. English is spoken, and Alec, the manager offers tours to the surrounding deserts and hills on a 4WD Jeep, according to guests’ personal wishes. A night out with a fire in the desert is an experience you will never forget. Adventurous minds might enjoy a spectacular ride across the sandy dunes. Furthermore, Alec is a professional paragliding pilot and is able to guide paragliders to the flying spots around YAZD and all over Iran. We very quickly started feeling at home after arriving to Yazd Hostel Oasis. The proprietors, Agha Ali and Agha Majid, we're friendly, gracious, warm and inviting. The location is perfect - right on one edge of the incredible ancient historical center. We arrived late one cold night on Agha Ali's birthday in late December and were quickly invited to warm up with tea and cake with our toes snuggled under their warm corsi. The rooms were simple but warm and comfortable. I was excited to wake up every morning as the traditional breakfast made fresh and just for you was amazing! A few days after we arrived was Yalda night, the longest night of the year and traditionally spent together with family. A firepit was set up in the open air courtyard and family started pouring in throughout the night. The food, tea, festivities, sweets, laughter and family made for a memorable Yalda night that we will not soon forget. Highly recommended to pay Agha Ali to have him take you on a 4X4 trip into the desert - complete with kabob, tea and camping chairs! I have no doubt that when we go back to Yazd, we will be staying with Agha Ali and Agha Majid again!

I stayed in the Silk Road Hotel for 3 nights and I really enjoyed it. First of all, the location in the city is great. It is very near the old town and a beautiful mosque is just 2 minutes away. The Facilities are very clean and the staff is very friendly. They offer to wash your clothes for a cheap price. The breakfast was nice as well, and the price is totally fair! All in all I can recommend to stay here.

Our small, clean and friendly hostel is located in the heart of old town. from June to end of Aguest we have a free pick up service from bus/tarin satition.
This is a very nice hostel in the perfect location. They offer private rooms with private showers. The rooms and bedding were clean. The common areas and kitchen also. But the most unforgettable was Hamid Reza. He was unbelievably hospitable, friendly and helpful host. We spent unforgettable time with him, made a nard game tournament, traditional song & dance evening. Thank you very much for everything, dear Hamid Reza :) Good luck!!!

A simple and and lovely place to stay. Its a question of taste - I liked the peaceful time I spent in Qashqai hostel. The location was good, breakfast - simple and still tasty, because they tried to have it a little bit different every morning. Hosts are real qashqai family btw, so it is not just a name and decoration of the hostel, they know the stories.

If you are a fan of living like a local while travelling, Mahbibi is here to present you with a unique taste of life. This house has 8 rooms, suitable for 40 people. The house has been host to numerous tourists from around the world over years and its pleasant, comfortable and authentic environment tempts the visitors to come back. We serve local cuisine on your request and there is a restaurant 5 minutes walk away from Mahbibi. We can plan tours to Chak Chak and Kharanaq and be our guest for a walking tour of the old neighbourhood and its Qanats.
I loved my 2 days stay in this traditional house. The manager is really hospitable! he cared about us like we are his guests and not his clients. He constantly offered us food and make sure we are not hungry like a family member! The food was great they always mixed the normal foods with traditional foods so people who might not be used to traditional flavours can still eat well. The rooms were clean and nice! Just some of the rooms have a private bathroom so if you want to stay there and you care about having a private bathroom make sure to ask them for the rooms specifically with bathroom

I didn't stay at the hostel but visited the rooftop restaurant several times. This is a perfect place to hang out and relax. The views are stunning and the food is great. The owner, Iman, is very friendly and even took time to explain the receipe of Mirza GhasemiI to me. I especially recommend to go there at sunset to listen to the call of prayer from the nearby Jameh mosque. This will be one of the highlights of your visit to Yazd, absolutely magical.
