Stayed for one night only but it was great! Very quiet and peaceful, good breakfast, friendly service. Little apart from the center which you would appreciate. Everything was clean and in cood conditions.

It's a bit noisy during the day due to the jetties in front of the hotel. But it get less frequent in the evening. Tourist information centre is right in front of the hotel. So it's good. All in all, it's a good hotel if you're only looking to stay there just to sleep at night.

Located on the main road of Nyaung Shwe, Ostello Bello Nyaung Shwe is the ideal base to explore the unique Inle Lake and its bucolic Shan State surroundings. Within a 2-minute walk, you will reach the local Mingalar market and the jetty from where local long tail boats leave for excursions to the Inle Lake floating villages and pagodas. Be sure not miss local treats such as the five-day rotating markets gathering visitors and sellers from the local villages, and the tasty Shan culinary specialties. Shan State is the place to sit back, relax and enjoy nature.
Ostello Bello is a great place to meet other travellers. it's always busy and the rooftop bar gives a great view of the town, with happy hour cocktails for only 2000k! All the staff are friendly and helpful and speak English well. Egle is the hostess with the mostess and will recommend all the best tours for you! If you want something a bit special take the Inle Ultimate Tour which you can book at reception. It's a bit more expensive than just taking a basic boat tour but you get a much more personal and less-touristy trip.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Great dorms with curtains, lock boxes and plenty of space. Bar is cheap with great happy hour. Free bikes. Shoe cleaning station for after hiking. Only thing that could be improved is the WiFi.

Cottage House is a great place for a quiet and relaxing home with a good atmosphere for you. Our beds are comfortable and our breakfast are also healthy. All staff will warmly welcome you with the best services.
Cottage House is THE best place to stay in Pindaya if you are looking for a super cute and cosy place to spend the night and if you are in for great food and interacting with the most friendly staff. With just a few rooms this place has the ‘family’ feeling. The rooms are beautifully decorated and with a lot of attention for the details. It is a beautiful place with great and clean rooms and a perfect location - walking distance from the caves and Pindaya downtown and a great starting point for trekking. The owner Kyaw is super friendly and helpful and speaks perfect English. All staff do their absolute best to give you the most amazing and comfortable stay. I can highly recommend this place. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. We were there for the annual balloon festival and Angie and her team were doing absolutely EVERYTHING possible to give everyone the very best experience. Check in was friendly and warm. The room was perfect for our needs with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and excellent WiFi. Breakfast was tasty with delicious Shan noodles and a bread/homemade jam selection available for guests to enjoy with their coffee and juice. To make things even easier, shuttle services were arranged to ferry people to the festival site. The amazing team even dropped us off at the bus stop to ensure we made it on time (an absolute wow factor). This place is fab and so easy to enjoy!

Hardwood Lodge is Inle Lake classic wooden architecture with full of local characters. It was built by traditional carpentry work. You would see similar design residential house around Inle Lake. Hardwood gives local residential feeling of Inle Lake. Bunk beds are in individual partitions within dormitory room that gives reasonable privacy. It has large communal area and balcony for relaxation, where you can see mountain range, river to Inle Lake and movement of locality. Hardwood Lodge situated in very best location in Nyaung Shwe(Town of Inle Lake). It is very close public transport terminal, most of the well-known or budget friendly restaurants, coffee shops, pub, bar and convenient store are two to five minutes’ walk. Mingalar Market (biggest market in Nyaung Shwe and Inle Lake region) is less than 100 meter away and other point of interests within very short distance.
Hardwood lodge is just in front of daily market next to kbz Bank and 10 minutes walk from bots departures. I loved the place, people are attention ate and helpful, tours possibilities..Dormatories confortables Everything perfect only breakfast could be improved..

The staff is very helpful and super friendly... They are here to REALLY help you. I arrived end of afternoon from Kalaw and the staff booked me in few minutes with some calls a day trip for the next day for Inle Lake and a night bus then to Bagan. The prices I paid were really interesting compared to the prices in agencies etc.. Breakfast is good too
