What a truly amazing experience at Alice Guesthouse. Natalie, Dimitri and the rest of the team made me feel like part of the family. I would highly recommend Bungalow Amarillo for an incredible jungle view complete with howler and spider monkeys and toucans. I highly suggest staying a little longer to fully embrace the tranquility. I already cannot wait to return to Guatemala so I can stay here again

Lake view is available in all rooms and also from our chilled terrace. By staying here you can use our kitchen and delight your self with free coffee every morning.
Excellent spot with an amazing tarrace with tens of hammacks and comfy chairs overlooking the lake. Extra clean rooms with just as much space as you need, excellent facilities excluding huge and fully equipped kitchen, super friendly and helpful staff. One of the most recommended places I stayed in in Guatemala!

Es un paraíso enfrente de la isla de Flores, con una vista impresionante un ambiente agradable, tranquilo y relajante contamos con servicio de lancha , traslados al aeropuerto gratis y puede disfrutar del Lago peten Itza .
I went to eat dinner with my family; there was only one chef cooking meals. The waiter didn't understand what we wanted, although our native language is Spanish. The waiter delayed too much time to bring our meals. When we asked for the check, it was overrated, about Q50 more than the quantity we consumed. If you want to pay with a credit card, the restaurant charges 5% to the check; it is really ridiculous.

a rather unique set up as a hostel and I enjoyed my stay. There is personal locker, sockets and fan which is great. It is not so much for privacy but I did not mind. The toilet and shower are spacious and clean! The staffs are super helpful and they do put in effort to help you. Location is great! The entrance is a bit hidden but it is nicely located on the island. It is easy to get around.

Welcome to this small waterfront hotel situated close to the island's town center. Stores, travel agencies, ATMs and restaurants are close. Our staff attends in English, German and Spanish. During check in our guests receive information about the hotel's rules/regulations, laundry service and things to do on the island like canoe/kayak rentals, the lake's rope swing and economic but good places to eat. We offer rooms for all budgets from dorm to private rooms with balcony, lake view and air condition. Our guests can also enjoy the sunset from our terrace while taking advantage of the hotel's free wifi access. All rooms have screened windows, incorporated bathrooms with a hot water shower and a toilet. Since the beginning of this year 2016 the establishment is undergoing a complete step by step renovation and various other improvements. We confirm reservations by email or phone. You are welcome to stay with us. We are looking forward to meeting you and try to make you have a pleasant stay.
The view from the balcony is very nice, WiFi works well and the host speaks excellent English, but doesn't respond well to criticism. As can probably be seen in his response to this review soon. The advertised restaurant and roof terrace isn't there at the moment due to ongoing renovations. This is fine of course, but the information and pictures should be removed untill it's done. As in contrary to what the host told us when bringing this up, some guests do like to have breakfast at their own hotel before going out. The double economy room itself is more economy than the price warrants. It is small and only has one light, the sheets don't fit well on the mattress and have holes in them, there is no mirror in the bathroom, the air conditioner and fan are both extremely loud, the door is made of stained glass which let's trough a lot of light and noise from the hallway. For 37€/night we have done way better in Flores when we went there again 2 weeks later.

This place is clean and very well located on the island. Unfortunately, we hear everything and kids like to use some fireworks all night long... Very difficult to sleep. Staff was friendly but they don’t speak english at all.

Our private room was small, simple but clean and had a fan. The hotel has a roof terrace with a nice view over Flores and the lake. During nights it got loud because of the bars in the neighborhood. The staff was friendly and helpful. All in all it was ok because we spent most of the time outside the hotel in Flores. Otherwise the room would have been too small and dark.
