We arrived at 9,30 at night to find they had lost our booking from a week before for 3 nights in a private room. They gave us dorm beds for 5 soles less. The bathrooms were awful with no hot water and blocked drains and no toilet paper in the morning. I asked when we could move to our private room the next day and he said 1pm. So we left and found a much better room and friendly service at Willy's around the corner with a private bathroom and breakfast included for a few soles more and 11am check in. Don't go to Paracas backpackers, they don't care at all about ruining your day.

We have stayed in this accommodation for its location which is directly at the kite beach. This is the best and actually only thing good about this place. Super basic amenities, very small room etc. You have to request cleaning, towels etc every single day. I find it incredible that such place can charge prices of a decent hotel. Breakfast consists of 1,5 piece of toast with one scrambled egg!! There is a lunch/dinner facilities but terribly over priced. Everything is charged for sperately (for example asking for plain rice instead of fries). On top had food poisoning on my second day from the food. I would not recommend this place to anyone nor would I ever stay here again. Such a shame because location is great if you kite surfing. But would recommend to stay in another place which will be better worth the money and take a taxi to the beach (costs about 3euro), and leave your equipment at the school. It would save you lots of money and most likely have a more pleasant stay.

I reserved this accommodation through Agoda and the photos online are very misleading. Our room had one bed and a light bulb overhead. The bed was adequate. The bathroom was adequate though there was no toilet seat. There was one window which we had to keep closed because the people at the pool could look straight down into the room. Consequently the room had no ventilation and was very hot and stuffy. I’m sure there are many better accommodation options in Paracas than this hotel.

The Ocean Beach Hotel Paracas, is pleased to present its portfolio of accommodation, we hope to provide a memorable experience. We are located at 2 José de San Martín Street. Mz. K, Lieutenant 4, Paracas, Ica, you can walk 3 minutes to the center of Paracas, where restaurants, Chaco El Chaco, Crafts, Cashier, etc. are located.
The hotel is near the centre. Away from noise. The owner picks you up from the bus although it is only a few mn walk. Still with heavy luggage it is appreciated. The owner offers you water and walks you to breakfast. They speak English. All in all they put a lot of effort making sure you have a pleasant stay. The room is very clean. The shower is hot. (Pressure is missing though.) The double bed is on the small size but comfy. It is quite expensive considering that we left a hotel in Huacachina with pool for the same price. All in all we were happy staying there.

We chose this hostel for our one night stay in Paracas and we loved it. It's newly refurbished, clean, hot shower, luggage storage, shared bathroom if you want to have a shower after leaving your room, tasty breakfast, very friendly staff especially the elder lady at reception who is also the owner I believe. We forgot our clothes at another hostel two hours away and she made a lot of phone calls and got our clothes within a few hours. They are very flexible trying to please everyone and don't mind changes at all as for example if you would like to order extra stuff for your breakfast, she will happily get you what you want.

Featuring free bikes, SOLE PARACAS HOTEL offers rooms in Paracas, 800 metres from El Chaco Boardwalk and 7 km from Julio C. Tello Museum. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also has a restaurant and an outdoor pool. The property is set 20 km from Paracas Port. At the hotel, the rooms are equipped with a patio. At SOLE PARACAS HOTEL all rooms have a seating area.
I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Peru, and this one is perhaps the worst. The Deluxe King room we had booked turned out to be small, cramped and with a queen sized bed (at best). The hotel is not in an area of much interest and a little difficult to get to. We found taxis did not really want to drive out there, so it is perhaps better if you bring your own transport. The breakfast was really basic, with toast, eggs and only instant coffee!! The latter is a definite no for me. The pool that is illustrated on their booking page is cold and not filled with clean water. The one redeeming feature of this hotel is that there is hot water, and if you are a backpacker renting a moped and staying in shared room it may work for you. But please do not confuse this place with that of a proper hotel

Deciding to stay here was the most valuable decision of my entire Peru trip! I stayed in June 2021, so tourism was quite limited due to COVID-19. I was the only foreign guest at the time of my stay and this may have enabled the hosts to be even more attentive, but based on what I experienced, this place is run by very caring and capable people who want their guests to enjoy their stay in Paracas and Peru as a whole. I saw others mention issues with wifi and with checkin: these were absolutely not issues for me at all. Also, the picture on TripAdvisor shows the place in a considerably more rustic state than I saw it! I was given a level of service I have never before enjoyed elsewhere. The hosts anticipated an issue in the area that could have very adversely affected my trip, advised me about it, and helped me steer around it (which cost them the business of me staying there a second night, as my stay had to be abbreviated) so that I could still see and do everything I had hoped to in the area. I was looked after before, during, and even after my stay. This is a budget property and is very nicely appointed for lodging of this category. I was completely comfortable and did not feel that any corners were cut with any aspect of my room, its amenities, or the service. Atenas Backpacker offered an exceptional value. There was not anything that could have been even a little different to enhance my enjoyment beyond having more time to stay here. Bonus tip: the chicha morada beverage here is really, really good!

Very basic room. Dated and no hot water. Cold showers. Extremely small bathrooms. Wouldn’t stay more than one night. Only stayed as part of a group tour pass through of Paracas. No breakfast. Wouldn’t stay again.

Had a great stay, rooms clean, super helpful Carlos, speaks good English, ask him any question and he will be glad to help. They let us use their kitchen for breakfast. If you are looking for an affordable, quiet place with family atmosphere do not look any further.
