Absolutely Stunning, Comfortable and Clean
Reviewed By JSTrip_77Just wow!! Just across the street from the Khuoi Ky stone village, this homestay is a stunning property that blends with nature. Constructed out of stone and wood, the facilities are modern and yet harmonious with the karst mountains all around. We were greeted so warmly with a fire in the fire pit which was then roasting rice and would later cook chicken. We stayed in the separate rooms, not the hostel area and found the rooms to be incredibly clean and comfortable. Each room has an individual hot water heater which provided awesome showers. Only some rooms have A/C or heat. The outside air got very cold during the night but I was never cold under my blanket. In fact, on this trip, I stayed in 3-4 star hotels up until my night at Yen Nhi - and yet my BEST sleep of this trip was at the homestay. (My Apple Watch confirmed this with stats!) The breakfast (banh cuon) was fresh, hot and delicious. And, we had a great time with the hosts and the other guests. This is a great place to learn about the Tay ethnic group, local history, and get a sense for living in this remote area of the country. Gosh, I cannot wait to go back!!!

Leaving Hanoi's noisy bustle, boring office work, computers, numbers. I decided to return to my hometown in the borderland of Cao Bang province - Vietnam, living and working. I built a very familiar name called May Linh Homestay (Ms. Linh's house). My car is located between majestic Ban Gioc Waterfall and Nguom Ngao spectacular shimmering cave. Homes with the architecture of stone floor, roof tile, yin and yang, interior and exterior with wooden planks and bamboo. Reviewed By sandra792018We spent three days staying at this guest house and had the most amazing time. May Linh was wonderful, accommodated my friends vegetarian diet, acted as our tour guide in the area and showed us wonderful sights - waterfall, caves, walks along the river, the local market and provided us with a history of the area (very close to the Chinese border) . Our stay here was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip to Vietnam. We would recommend this guest house without reservation and wish May Linh every success

An excellent place to stay with friendly family
Reviewed By 2CycloMy stay was everything I needed, the place was clean and comfortable, the family are all friendly and hospitable. I will return to stay in the future. No need to worry about where to eat as home cooked meals are made on site which is convenient. The accommodation is more modern than the others nearby which are stone and quite rustic so it depends what experience you are seeking. But after a long trip on a bike, this definitely was the place for me... clean and comfy bed and good shower. See you next time!

The house was built by local people with beautiful home-made red bricks, and well-designed with special and re-used ,eco-friendly material ( rocky wall, bamboo lights, stone table) You will have a comfortable, clean accommodation while getting lost in green and traditional space.
Over expectation for the retreat trip back to the real life

From that, I tried to find some homestay in Northern Vietnam to enjoy the weekend with my 2 sisters. Both of them also never come to Cao Bang as well, so I do some research on internet and I found this outstanding place. Even its facilities are quite basic, but you can feel like a home when coming here with full of fresh air, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, supportive host, that can help me to recharge the energy after a long working week. Thank you, Dung who gave me the best trip to wrap up my amazing October :) I will come back this year, for sure <3
