A great little find. Lovely friendly staff with a good selection of food at a reasonable price. They could not have been more helpful and welcoming. They told us that the food is not prepared on the premises but made elsewhere and bought in. It all tasted great and was presented nicely. No complaints from us.

A new concept of accommodation in Andorra. Some people would define it as a Hostel in Andorra, others as a lodge in Andorra, but the truth is that there's nothing quite the same and even less so in Andorra. If you're used to staying at youth hostels or lodges, here you'll be in a innovative and unique space, exceeding past experiences. If it's your first time, you'll regret not knowing about it before! If you're a mountain freak or if your passions are mountain sports, then Moutain Hostel Tarter is the new accommodation formula you need for your stay in Andorra. It's an easy, practical, comfortable, economical and sustainable way of doing so, where you'll meet and share experiences with fellow travelers and mountain sports lovers like you, both in winter and in summer. A new concept of accommodation situated in El Tarter, 200 meters away from Grandvalira - El Tarter ski resort's main access, where you'll also find the best snowpark of the Pyrenees and over 200km of ski slopes! Mountain Hostel Tarter is a unique establishment in Andorra, made for travelers by travelers and designed to offer what we usually look out for when we're traveling: a comfy and practical place to stay, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. All of this with the best quality/price you'll find, and in a renewed rustic and sustainable home. So forget about the accommodation and sleeping..! We're here for that! It's up to you to make the most out of your days in Andorra, practicing your favorite sport or hobby... By the way, which one is it? Ski, snowboard, telemark, randonee skiing, freestyle, freeride, mountain biking, downhill biking, trekking, Via Ferradas, etc... Enjoy it! SLEEP & RIDE!
I went here last year to find a place where I can go Solo to go snowboarding and meeting other people. Last year I had a great time and met nice people to hit the slopes with. I was also very impressed with the Hostels perfection. Comfy beds, friendly staff and owners, good showers, great kitchen, common room and of course the Jacuzzi outside. They really thought of everything!

We are in Andorra - only 2.5 km from the center of Canillo, and 12 km from the capital of the country - in the middle of nature, but at the same time close to everything: the ice rink, the ski slopes and the adventure sports. We are a rural accommodation consisting of three rooms with all the services and with independent entrance. A double room of about 15m2, ideal for couples; a quadruple room of 25m2 with a double bed and bunk beds, perfect for families; and an attic duplex apartment of 150m2, with terrace, barbecue, kitchen, fireplace and pool table, suitable to accommodate families or groups of friends of up to 10 people. On the ground floor we have the restaurant, which is within the path of the 25 Bordas recommended in the government guide, where Paqui and Pierres will assist you to make you feel at home.
The host was so welcoming and attentive. The food was amazing and of a very high quality. You are really made to feel like you are eating in someone's home. Highly recommend this restaurant. Not a large place so make sure you reserve beforehand.

Really good location in the older part of town, if you have any mobility problems do be aware the accommodation is all on the upper floors and there is no lift. Friendly helpful staff in the small cafe on the ground floor deal with checkin/out etc. Oh and it has to be one of the best bakeries in Andorra. Nice room with private balcony overlooking the main street, the only time the noise from the street got excessive was Friday night when a huge parade (I guess 100 or more) of (I think) Honda Goldwings came though horns blaring, A very unexpected and spectacular happening.

On a hill with a stunning view of the Pyrenes and easily accesible to fantastic hiking trails. I stayed with 9 friends and we had a blast. The breakfast was better than in most hostels (included deli meats) and the lounge was large and comfortable. Perfect for families as well as young people. The bus doesn´t go up to the hostel frequently so make sure you check the schedule but we walked up to it at night and it was a very pleasant walk in December. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hostel was clean. Cannot complain about anything.

Room is Very Very small, Two people cant walk At the same time; its forbidden smoking (we dont smoke) but the whole structure stinks of smoke, i had read on Booking that or was kids friendly but probably Who wrote that has not kids. Bad choice. Disappointed. Then not a good balance between quality and price.

I've been with friends to this hostel for a ski weekend in Andorra..it was quite cheap for being in Andorra but the reason was clear when we arrived. The place is actually very nice and looks cozy at the reception and lounge bar,the building is an old house, charming but with all the disadvantages of the case such as really noisy and creaky. But this was not the issue..What I found really uncomfortable were the bathrooms all broken with not even one lock, same for the showers which didn't have any hanger or shelf to put your things..it's not so hard to put a hanger and make things a bit easier for the poor guests..but what made everything look even worse was the owner who was grumpy every time we talked to her, annoyed, rude and not willing to help. Really bad impression, if you run a hostel you should at least pretend that you like people!
