Fascinating glimpse into Valencia’s Roman history through a museum that is actually an archeological site. You are standing over ancient Roman roads and structures, all displayed to show the Roman Empire’s influences on the Valencia region. Definitely worth the 2 Euro per person entry fee.

This is for me an outstanding museum. It is located outside the old city, it is about 5 minutes away on the metro and aabout 400m from the metro station (Nou de Octobre0. You ahve to pass this if you are going to the bioparc, and I recommend making the detour. The museum is arranged in an easy to follow chronological prder with some interactive displays, the history upto 1975 is given with many artefacts, pictures etc. You could easily spend several hours here. Although the sgns are in Spanish/Valencian, there are guides available in English and French. I would suggets visiting this museum at the beginning of your stay as you will get a very good overview of the city's story.
