The Interpretation Centre Escuelas Viajeras aims to be a tribute to the program of Pedagogical Missions that were developed in the Second Republic and a public recognition to the teachers of rural areas that dedicated all their effort to teach in their small schools without being considered in the same way than the city teachers. If you visit Escuelas Viajeras you will find the treasure given in Navas del Madroño by the essayist and thinker María Zambrano, a collection of original books used in the Pedagogical Missions and some other pieces. Discovering this treasure will open a window on history and culture.
