We've travel to other countries and the U.S., always found the trips to be more enjoyable with a local driver/guide. Large groups on tour busses suck. With Cheryl, we were treated like family, (the ones she loves). I highly recommend booking her services which will lead to a wonderful, memorable experience. We still keep in touch with her 3 years later from our home in Florida.

This Wenatchee River Whitewater Rafting Adventure was the highlight of our Leavenworth, WA anniversary weekend getaway! Nick/Jelly Belly was our guide, he was knowledgeable, personable, and experienced. The safety guide also gave an introductory safety 101. My nerves were at ease for a first time rafter! We were lucky to have an amazing sunny day in mid-April, the water was cold but refreshing. Our guide took us on all the routes that ensured a thrilling experience! We were told to come back in June when the river would be even more thrilling! We're gathering friends and will be back! The only advice I'd give future rafters, don't forget your go-pros!!!! Thank you Jelly Belly! you were worth the 50% tip :)

Booked the VIP Ultimate Seattle Food Tour for 6 people on January 6th for March 18th. I was notified that our host was being briefed on March 3rd and I was contacted by March 4th. Details were exchanged and a proposed itinerary was received on March 15th. We paid $976 for this 4 hour tour and I was told that our "budget" for food for the 6 of us was $213. The itinerary included 3 stops where we were expected to order off the menu and share. Transportation between restaurants was not included. I asked our host what their recommendations were (why those particular restaurants were selected) and commented that making 3 reservations, being responsible for our own transportation, and ordering off the menu/sharing was something we could have just done on our own. On the morning of March 17th - ONE DAY BEFORE OUR TOUR - I received notification that our tour was canceled "due to COVID" (which isn't being honest, IMO). What horrible service.

I really faffed up and we were an HOUR late. Despite this Tim made it work. He is FASCINATING and very funny. I am really looking forward to doing another of his tours but in a different area. We had a tremendously fun evening and I strongly recommend Tim to anyone who has even a vague interest in beer. Also afterwards we had the option of hanging about with him and his lovely wife but we had to head home back to the dogs-which in hindsight we could have brought with us.

TOUR INCLUDES FIGUREHEAD BREWING, the FIDHERMEN'S TERMINAL AND ROOFTOP BREW COMPANY. On the south shore of Salmon Bay, beneath the Ballard Bridge, and north of the BSNF train yards is Seattle's historic Fishermen's Terminal and the home port for the North Pacific Fishing Fleet. Think of the Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch and you will know exactly what kind of intrepid fishermen sail from this port. Luckily for them, and for us, there are two great breweries on either side of the port, and we are going to taste six great beers at each. At each brewery our Cicerone certified Beer Guide will lead a guided tasting of six, 4-once beers, for a total of 12 different beers. This is about 3 pints of beer. * 3/4 of a mile, 1,500 steps * Each guide a certified cicerone * 12 different 4 oz beers * Free 4-oz souvenir tasting glass * Free souvenir Bottle Key-Chain opener * Beer & Food Pairing Guide

TOUR INCLUDES REUBEN'S BREWS, STOUP BREWING, AND OBEC BREWING.  In the center of Ballard's Brewing District, these three breweries stand out. At each guided tasting we will learn about the different beer styles, what to look for when you are tasting beer, the history of beer, and the craft brewing renaissance in the Pacific Northwest. For example we'll learn how an obscure export ale for British soldiers was reborn in the Pacific Northwest to become the most popular craft beer style in North America or how a small Czech town gave its name to one of the world's most popular beer styles. At each brewery our Cicerone certified Beer Guide will lead a guided tasting of four, 4-once beers, for a total of 12 different beers.

First off - Jake was fantastic! Full of information and delivered in a way that kept my 14 year old interested and off of her phone! This tour included two stops where we actually got out of the van and discussed what had happened in the area. One stop was particularly impactful on both my daughter and me. We highly recommend this tour for those looking for some history on Seattle’s haunted side!
