Excellent remote walking tour of the old city of Tbilisi with Bacho via internet. The technology worked well and Bacho has perfect English. Bacho is a friendly and very well informed guide. It was wonderful to get a taste of this beautiful and interesting looking city in the only way possible in current circumstances. Georgia is now very high on my list of countries to visit when circumstances allow and I will not hesitate to contact Bacho and Georgian holidays to help plan my trip. Highly recommended. Many thanks. Mike Davey England

This review covers a tailor-made week in the eastern part of Georgia for two friends travelling together. We booked with Sunny Tours via a friend and were not disappointed AT ALL? . With Tbilisi as our base, we travelled in all directions and visited Kakheti region for two days, Kazbegi, Borjomi, Mtskheta to name just a few. The knowledge and passion for their country of our guides really immersed us in Georgian history and culture for our lamentably short 7 days. The flexibility of our guides and their efforts to keep my friend and I ahead of the crowds was also a real plus point. With their excellent guidance and organisation, we visited small wine producers, local bread makers, small family run restaurants as well as the amazing ancient churches and monasteries, many dating from the 4 - 6C but reconstructed in later centuries. Scenery is abundant too and the drive from Tbilisi to Kazbegi over the Georgian Military Highway is stunning for the colours and contours of the ever approaching mountains. Then try to keep a head for heights while looking down to Kazbegi from Gergety Trinity Church and enjoy views of Mt Kazbek and over the Caucasus Mountains. Visit Georgia with a passion to see and learn, not just to take photos. And look for the best Georgia has to offer in so many small ways with a good tour company like Sunny and avoid the coach parties.

Our route goes alongside the Great Caucasus Mountain Range toward the only open Georgia - Russia border that’s why it’s called as a great military road. Different sources describe the Georgian Military Road as 'one of the most beautiful mountain roads in the world', This region in Georgia is popular with spectacular views and high-altitude mountains. Snow covers the area until the early spring.
Inclusions: Private transportation, Lunch, Bottled water

Had an amazing time. The lunch (burp), the family (best host), the homemade wine (slurp) all thanks to our amazing guide Giga. The host were super kind and fun. The food was so tasty, we couldn’t stop eating. Our guide gave us the best experience for wine tasting.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend in Tbilisi with a colleague and was given Rati's name (Splendid Tours Georgia) as a guide. What an amazing experience from his pick-up at the airport, to his drop-off at the end. Friday we spent 11 hours with Rati and Saturday we spent the day until he dropped us off for our flight. Rati is beyond knowledgeable. If you ask: "what's that", you not only get the answer but the history as well. He listened to what we wanted to do, went above and beyond to show us around, and arranged the most fun-filled, historical, informational weekend adventure. Rati will customize the tour to your likes. There's so much to see in Georgia that it's definitely beneficial to have a knowledgeable guide to take you. Rati speaks amazing English and can also speak Georgian (of course) and Russian. You won't go wrong with Rati!

The trip was incredible. The company was extremely flexible with us! My girlfriend was sick so they offered to postpone the tour by a day or two for us to be able to do it in better conditions. Aleksi, our tour guide was extremely friendly, spoke good English, and... most importantly... He drove his car in such a gentle and comfortable manner! What a difference from most crazy rides we got from Georgia. We highly recommend this company!
