Nevis Island is the Queen of the Caribees. Take a 2.5-hour guided tour of this tranquil island and see why the Lords and Ladies visited the island in the 1700s thru the 1800s. It became famous when the healing thermal sulfur springs were found to have medicinal properties. This was the island Lord Nelson found his bride Fanny Nisbet. The Inns of Nevis were once plantation homes of the wealthy English and are now the exclusive Inns of Nevis. Nevis is an island rich in history and natural beauty.

Clayton was our guide and did a fantastic job of taking us to spots we wanted to see. He also recommended Lime Beach Bar for lunch, took us there and picked us up in time to meet the ferry back to St. Kitts. He was so concerned that we get back to St. Kitts he had someone else he knew on the ferry watch over us. All in all I would definitely book this trip again thru Tropical Tours. They did a wonderful and thorough job.

Great day! Pick up was at 10:00am, drop off by 3:00pm. - Timothy Hill - Drive through Basse Terre via Calypso Bay - Caribelle Batik / Romney Manor - Brimstone Hill National Fortress - Black Rocks Joseph (Annie's husband) was very kind, knowledgeable, and flexible when we wanted to take a little extra time at Brimstone National Fortress (we ended up being the only ones on the tour that day). Highly recommended. Pack a few snacks and water just in case you get a little hungry.

During this part of the excursion, you will see our old churches, the Berkley Memorial (The Circus), The Indepenedent Square and The War Memorial. While traveling in a westward direction, we will stop at the Romney Manor Sugar Plantation. It was owned by the great, great, grandfather of Thomas Jefferson - the third president of the United States. Our Journey of Discovery begins at the designated meeting point in Port Zante. In 15 minutes, you will learn about the history of Port Zante and historic downtown Basseterre, French for "Low land", including some of her iconic landmarks such as the St. George Anglican Church and the Church of the Immaculate Conception. From there discover the secrets of the Wingfield Estate in Old Road, the oldest sugar plantation in the Caribbean. Explore the old ruins for thirty minutes. See the lush, verdant Rainforest with Mount Liamigua in the distance. The highlight of the Tour is a visit to the Amazing Grace Experience in Sandy Point where there is more to discover. The poor treatment of slaves transported by John Newton from Africa to St. Kitts for sale in the slave market at Independence Square affected him so much, that he got the inspiration to pen this most beloved hymn Amazing Grace. Well, what are you waiting for? Join us now on our tour of Discovery

This was a great tour. My wife and I were the only two on the tour and the operator customized the tour to meet our needs, so we could see exactly what we wanted. Unlike most tours we were able to spend as much time as we wanted in each location. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone going to St. Kitts

This was one of the better walking tours I have been on! Rochelle was informative and entertaining. She taught the group about various different aspects of Nevis and answered everyone's questions very well. She also kept it fun and adapted the tour well to the scattered showered we experienced. Overall, great time!

I can go on and on about the wonderful day but will give you the condensed version. From the time of pick up until the drop off we had a blast with Pastor Wiliams (Henry) as our guide for the day. We had 7 of us aged from 21 to 88 and the tour was great for all. We hit all the stops Brimstone Hill Romney Manor + + and ended the day at Timothy Hill after a stop at Shipwreck ( Our choice) for A swim, drinks and lunch. Met Mr Grey a few times during the day. Great guy, Great Company and Great Day for all of us ! Can't say enough good things about them. We topped the day off with a wedding ceremony from Pastor Williams for two in our unsuspected party :-) They are still together pastor. Not sure for how long but still together! :-) Thank You Thenford, Thank You Henry, If anything I can do from the states, you know how to get a hold of me. Take good care and keep on doing what you do! All the best! Mike & Family.

Dejourne was EXCELLENT!!!! He was attentive to his riders and gave fantastic information during our tour! He was informative and entertaining at the same time. He helped physically challenged riders in and out of his vehicle as well. Most importantly, Dejourne made an unscheduled but highly necessary rest stop for myself, my mother and aunt. He was a gentleman, although I admittedly caused some entertainment for my fellow riders!! I would definitely recommend him and his company!!!
