Very exciting and interesting tour that keeps you on your toes and keep wanting you more of it! Tanja was a blast and I could go with her anywhere in the world as a tour guide, she is absolutely amazing and a great host. The lake and the bay are amazing and there is so much to explore. I have enjoyed every second of the trip. Budva is beautiful and Lovcen is magical! Food and wine were perfect and the winery was charming, with very pleasant staff, and great service. I expected a lot from Montenegro but this trip gave me so much more, thank you Montenegro Wonders for this great experience and so much efort to make this trip unforgettable.

A city walking tour that will introduce you to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, and it's administrative, cultural and economic centre. The wider area has been inhabited since the Stone Age, but its urban history starts with the arrival of the Romans in the 2nd century B.C. Dating from the period of Illyrian-Roman wars, Podgorica was always at the crossroads for Greek travellers, Roman legionnaires, Byzantine messengers, Serbian noblemen, Venetian merchants, Turkish invaders, Montenegrin warriors... More than 70 bombings in the Second World War have wiped out many buildings and monuments from the previous centuries. During our 90 minutes walk, we will pass by some of these remaining traces of the previous centuries but will also take a look at the way the city was rebuilt during the communist period and in the later decades.

I have just gotten back from my tour and I must say that this is one of the best town tours I have ever been on, I highly recommend it. Ana was my guide and she was extremely knowledgeable about the town and its history. She was able to answer any and all questions I had and kept the tour interesting. I would 100% tell anyone I know to do this tour when visiting Montenegro and Kotor as it was amazing. I would also like to note that even with covid, I felt comfortable on this great tour! Thank you, Ana!!

"Tour around Korita" is the first fully marked panoramic route in Montenegro! It starts in Podgorica, the capital, and leads to the mountainous area of Kuči,up to the cliff of the wonderful Cijevna Canyon. The road is 65 km long, enough to not only escape from daily life for a few hours but also to plunge into a completely different surrounding with diverse landscapes, herbs, historical monuments, picturesque villages and viewpoints etc. The most attractive moment of this route is the hike to Grlo Sokolovo viewpoint which will leave you speechless for sure! Panoramic Road Circle around Korita takes you up to 1,400 m, so we recommend sturdy shoes.
Inclusions: Guided tour, Ride around Kucka Korita with stops on all significant viewpoints and historical monuments, Entrance to Marko Miljanov museum, Bottled water, Driver
Exclusions: transportation to the meeting point in Podgorica (can be provided on request), Lunch Can be arranged on request, 10€ per person

My heart is full of the gratitude for the amazing experience! Pava and Slavko did their best to provide me with the perfectly customized tour. Despite COVID-related restrictions and public holidays (I travelled to Montenegro in this early January) I visited a lot of interesting towns, museums and art galleries. When some place turned out to be closed because of the new restrictions Pava and Slavko would promptly found some other interesting nearby attraction. The culmination came while visiting the Lady of the Rock church. Especially for me Slavko managed to call the only employee and he kindly interrupt his Christmas holiday to provide us with the boat and sail to the island. He opened doors and I couldn't believe my eyes seeing all this rich and beautiful interior. No shortcomings, no regrets, no fail: again, my experiences were only positive.

This was a great tour, and our guide, Darko, was exceptionally knowledgeable. We would strongly recommend this tour. Our only issues were that we needed more bathroom breaks, and those in the backseat had considerable trouble hearing the guide while he was driving. Regardless, we would recommend this to all Montenegro travelers. Wear/take layers - can be chilly!

We really enjoyed our day with Tamara seeing some amazing sights. There was history, there were mountains, there were stunning views, there was good coffee, there was great food in a beautiful plaza by a cathedral, there was beer on the beach (in February!) and as the sun started to set she whisked us up the mountain to capture the sunset. A fabulous day that we all enjoyed. I had no idea that Kotor Bay viewed from the mountains would be quite so breathtaking and Tamara knew all the best places to stop the car for the most lovely views. Neither did I expect the weather to be nice enough to sit on the beach at Budva and have a beer to end the day - I think Tamara must have read my mind as I had spotted the beach bar from a view point she had taken us to! Travelling in February means no queues, no cars or tourist buses blocking the road and no-one getting in the way of the shot at the viewpoints - there's a bonus to travelling off-season! Tamara said that in summer there's no 'down' time on the tour as it takes longer to get everywhere, with the narrow mountain roads busy with tourist traffic. We enjoyed it much more at the pace where we could take time to enjoy the things we were seeing and have a chat with Tamara over coffee. Being winter, it did mean that there were a couple of places we couldn't visit, but i don't think we missed out at all as we had longer to do the stuff we really wanted. It's a great tour and Tamara was fun and knowledgeable and a lovely guide to spend the day with.
We can say that Montenegro is small country but Montenegro is full of contrast. You can find on a lot of forums explanation as a “country where less is more”, “in one day mountain and sea coast”, “wild beauty”. One is for sure the country where you can get in love in a lot of different ways. We have made this three days tour as an idea to show you as much as possible, but still trough the eyes of locals with authentic spirit and spontaneous flow.
Inclusions: Breakfast, Breakfast, Air-conditioned vehicle, Tour Guide, 2 nights accommodation with breakfast
Exclusions: Lunches, Dinners, All Fees and Taxes
I can't thank our tour guide Adam enough for giving us a fun filled day from start to finish. If you are lucky enough to get him as your tour guide you will agree with me that he is one interesting man on this planet! He went above and beyond, even making additional pit stops. He showed us so much in one day that would of easily taken us two to three days to do. The tour exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to do future day trips in other countries/cities with Albanian Express Travel and Adam!

Fun, friendly and knowledgable guides. Amazing locations. Local experiences. What more could you want! I did a 3 day V.I.P tour with Pavle, who was an incredible guided and helped me understand Montenegro like a local. He was a great person to explore with and it felt like we were traveling as friends together, rather than just in a tour group. I love the local travel philosophy Nomad is sharing, and highly recommend them to anyone seeking a more culturally immersive experience.
