Such a humbling experience to visit, although was a key reason why we visited Krakow. So much of it is left to see & the feeling of walking through the gas chamber was eerie. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. We appreciated her knowledge & pace of the tour. There were a number of times where we were asked to be respectful & remain silent in certain parts, which really made me think about what happened there. Whilst what happened there was tragic, the tour and information was fantastic. It was split across 2 separate sites & as we had our own transport we met our group at the 2nd site, without any issues. If you visit Krakow, this is a must trip! Given the history of this place, it wasn't quite what I expected. It was humbling & just made us appreciate life a bit more.

Auschwitz was established in 1940 It was the biggest Nazi concentration camp for Poles and prisoners from other countries. They were condemned by the hitlerite fascism to isolation and slow extermination by hunger, exhausting work, criminal experiments, or to a quick death as a result of individual and mass executions. A place definitely worth seeing. Wieliczka Salt mine Is a priceless historical monument of the world's material culture and the only open mining facility in the world working continuously since the Middle Ages. • One of the most well-known tourist facilities in Poland • A complex of underground excavations consisting of 3 thousand chambers of the total length of 300 km at levels from 64 to 327 meters deep • Inscribed onto the First UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage List in 1978

From start to finish this tour was outstanding. For obvious reasons it was an emotional and shocking day but a part of history that should never be forgotten. Our tour guide was fantastic (sorry, I cannot remember her name), the way she explained everything gave us a clear understanding. I took my teenage girls with me and they didn't want to say they 'enjoyed' the trip due to the nature of Auschwitz but it certainly will stay with us for a very long time. The communication and organisation of this company means we highly recommend them. many thanks for such an informative day. We went in December 2019 before Covid. Posting this review late. Sorry.

We were a group of four. The tour was for approx. 7 hours in the car. They sent us a large enough car so it was very comforting. Our driver gave us pit stops on the way when we requested and our guid in Krakow gave us some stop at the cafe and souvenir shops for us so we had some free time and learned interesting historical facts about Krakow. Very interesting and comforting experience in total. Breakfast and dinner is not included so I recommend that we bring some snacks on the tour.

During your approximately 7-hours trip from Krakow, you will have an opportunity to discover the history of World War II and the Holocaust in Poland. A local, professional guide will provide you with all valuable facts in the camp sites and on your way to Auschwitz, you will have a chance to prepare yourself to the visit with a short documentary film "The liberation of Auschwitz” screened in your shared car. On your visit to Auschwitz you are able to witness horrors of Auchwitz and enter prisoners cells, gas chambers, execution spots, workshops, wooden barraks and much more. The tour is divided into two separate parts. First - Auschwitz I where the guide will take you for a 2h walk through the camp. Second - Birkenau situated 3km away where it takes around 1h to discover the terrifying history of that place.
Inclusions: Hotel pickup and drop-off - if option with hotel pick up selected, Transport by air-conditioned minivan, with Wi-Fi, Professional guide, Headsets to hear the guide clearly, Documentary movie "Liberation of Auschwitz", Guaranteed skip-the-line entrance tickets

That was a really good trip. We were picked up from our hotel. Our driver explained us everything and was waiting for us in the car to drive us to Birkenau and after to our hotel. Guide was a real professional and he anwsered all our questions. We used Krakow Direct and it was superb. Remember to get some snacks or lunch as the tour is really exhausting and there is no time to seat & eat.
