The Principality of Monaco, a small city-state overlooking the pristine blue waters of the Mediterranean, is a place famed for its glamour and wealth. The Palais Princier, former home of Princess Grace and current home of her son, Prince Albert II, is at the top of the cliff-bound medieval Monaco-Ville. More well known is Monte Carlo, a neighborhood soaked in sun, money, and expensive champagne, and home to the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix, the European Poker Tour, and the Monte Carlo Rally.

This review is long overdue. But when a friend asked me what they should do while in France I had to recommend this day trip with Yvonne. Yvonne tailor made our day so that my husband and I were able to see the things most important to us. Her knowledge of the area is truly wonderful. We were able to visit little villages, talk to the shop owners, taste incredible food and see sights we would not have explored on our own. Of course her Mercedes was very clean and comfortable. Yvonne is a warm and friendly host. The day spent with her as our guide was the highlight of our trip to France.

Ingrid is full of historic, trivia, & tidbit facts/information about the entire French Riviera. We hired her for 2 days and she never disappointed us. Learned much about Nice, coastline, Eze, Monaco, Monte Carlo. 3 countries in ONE hour - she made it happened! France, Italy & Monaco. She told us it was the "perfect" time of the year to visit - few tourists & reduced prices, including hotel & shops. 2nd day was spent in Antibes (where Picasso lived 5 months/1946), small family run winery, St. Paul de Vence & more. Picnics both days - breathtaking views of countryside. She brought cloth tablecloths/wine glasses - niceities to add to experience!.Our trip seems surreal now, but we have boundless treasured memories thanks to Ingrid!

I am a travel agent from New York. My company specializes in planning itineraries with private tour guides in each city. I have personally toured with Cécile and sent clients to tour with her. She is smart, warm, knowledgable, and flexible. A few months ago I took a cruise that was supposed to dock in Monte Carlo, but due to weather docked in Villefranche instead. Cécile picked us up there and on the fly came up with a plan for the day that balanced traditional touring with some great local shopping (it was a "girls" trip and we had our priorities). That day we saw Nice, Antibes, and St. Paul. Just last week, my cousin and his new wife visited the area on a cruise (their honeymoon). The ship's itinerary changed at the last minute and they ended up going to Monte Carlo a day later than originally scheduled. Cécile was able to switch the tour day for us and ultimately showed them much more than they would have seen with the original schedule. Cécile is the first person I will contact whenever I, or a client is going to visit the French Riviera.

We had a trip from Nice to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the driver offered to drive us through the low Corniche. We passed by Villefranche-Sur-Mer and Beaulieu-sur-Mer. We had the chance to stop and take some lovely pictures of the Bay! I will definitely call the same driver for my next trip to Nice !

we visited only one Rass winery, and in the review it was announced that we would visit 3 wineries. I do not like this. It made a bad impression on me that when we arrived at the Rass winery we were greeted with the finding that they had already closed for tourists today, but as a compromise they would take the trouble to open for us. The winery was not typical of Provence. There are also better wineries in the area, I expected more ...
