this was such an amazing tour. i had no idea the details of what was going on in colombia only 20 years ago. the fact that these types of tours and help from the government helped build escalators for senior citizens and other folks to use to go up and down the communa is great. carlos has such a deep understanding of the history and also of the meanings of the many beautiful murals across the communa. he picks you up and drops you off in a nice comfortable car and speaks english well. im definitely going to be going consider going on all of his tours.

Your first stop in this Guatape tour is to try different exotic fruits you don't even know existed, with delicious sour or sweet flavors. Our second stop is a flooded town replica: at this place you will be able to see and feel what it was like to live in the actual flooded town. This tour was by far the best experience I have had yet on Trip Advisor! Andres was extremely friendly, passionate and scholarly. He was easy to talk to about anything! All the information he gave us was very interesting and educational. I personally don’t even like coffee, and I still really enjoyed this tour. My boyfriend loves coffee and loved the tour as well. Andres took us through the entire process of making coffee from planting the seed to the different methods of extracting. It was amazing how many flavors you can achieve from the different extraction methods. He took pictures of us along the way so that we could focus on enjoying the experience. The local family he works with were very hospitable and offered us drinks and food along the way. I could not have asked for anything more on this tour. 5+++

We do not intend to idolize Escobar or any member of the cartel, much less disrespect the Colombian people. Our purpose is to tell the truth, far from myths and fanaticism. focusing on the struggle and awareness of our brothers to show a new and improved Medellin. Our greatest desire is that you know a part of the history marked by the pain and suffering of the Colombian people, the perspectives, places and stories during this dark time for Colombia.

Terrific!!! Kevin was a great tour guide, very friendly and attentive to all the little details. My mom is vegan so he asked (while we were climbing El Peñol) for vegan options. My mom loved the restaurant. The coffee farm tour was organized well and was very informative. At no point did we feel like we were rushed and were able to fit everything well. From the climb, to the walking tour of Guatapé, to the coffee farm and the boat tour everything was really good. Highly recommend Kevin and his company, Inside Colombia!

He personally knew so many details that it would've been difficult to know had it been a different tour guide. Definitely book this tour and all for Jorge!!

WOW! What can I say but I would give this 10 stars if I could! This was my first horseback riding tour in Colombia and I did it with Andres. I had such an unbelievable, breathtaking experience. I called him and booked the day before and he was able to squeeze us in for a tour. Andres was super friendly and an awesome guide who also spoke English and Spanish, he’s also very knowledgeable. I ended up choosing the cattle ranch riding tour and it did not disappoint! He was accommodating to payment methods and picking us up from hotel in the morning and provided us water for the trip. The horses you get to ride are from his very own farm. I can tell they are very well taken care of and healthy and also well behaved! We had an authentic Colombian lunch before taking off to ride. He will tailor to your riding experiences but I told him I had experiences riding so we were able to gallop during the flatter part of the ride. The view through the acres was so beautiful. He explained many things to us so I felt that I learned a lot. He also has fresh eggs from his chicken and his own roasted coffee so be sure to pick some up after the ride. It was a full day of trip, about 1.5 hr to the farm, 2 hrs ish for the ride. Overall I had such a wonderful experience for my first tour in Colombia, especially being a horse lover this was a thrill and an experience I’ll never forget. I look forward to other tours with Andres and LandVenture Travel in the future. Thank you again! I HIGHLY recommend going with him for your tours, you will not be disappointed and be coming back for more. ????????????????
