Wanderlust helped my family and I to plan a multi week tour through Morocco, including stays in Tangier, Fes, Chefchaouen, Marrakech, Essaouira, and others. Ibrahim, our driver and primary guide, helped us get throughout the country and took spectacular care of us like we were his own family, to include my toddler who began waking up every day asking to "Ride in the bus with Mr Ibrahim". Megan proposed a great itinerary, which allowed us to have a relaxing family adventure. Thank you for such a memorable time!

What a wonderful trip! Abdul was prompt and courteous and drove a clean, spacious vehicle. He expertly drove us through beautiful scenery, sharing local knowledge about the towns and landmarks we were passing. And the falls! Abdul gave us time to explore but understood it was time to go when our young children were tired. I HIGHLY recommend this excursion! We would do it again!

Otman is an extraordinary person. He has an outgoing personality, is very knowledgeable and has an absolute passion for Morocco and its people. His kindness and ability to care for others is exemplary. As our tour guide he always went over and above to ensure the needs of individuals were met whilst preserving what was best for the group. I have so many amazing memories of the fun times shared with the group as we traveled through this beautifully diverse country. Time and time again, with Otman, we experienced the culture, in such a way, that we not only saw it, but we felt it. It was truly, a life changing experience for me.

I'm a solo traveller so was hoping the trip was going to be ok and it was! He minibus arrived 5 minutes early, lovely driver, spoke English, we collected other members of the group and left Marrakech at 8.30, stopping at an argon co-operative en route (it was actually really interesting, with delicious samples and NO pressure to buy!) and a cafe for toilets and coffee. We arrived in Essouria about 11.30, the driver told us where to be at 4pm, showed us where he port wa, the medina and the beach and off we all went. It is perfectly safe for a sole female traveller, you only get the usual stall-holders trying to sell you things but they don't hassle you.

half-day excursion through bustling Marrakech begins after meeting your guide in front of the Café de France, an iconic landmark on Marrakech’s main square. Over the course of the day, you’ll discover the majesty and vibrancy of Marrakech’s medina, beginning with a jaunt across the Jemaa el-Fnaa square to the Koutobia Mosque. Gaze at the mosque’s massive minaret, the largest in Marrakech, as your expert guide informs you of the stunning building’s history. Onwards, you’ll head towards the Saadian Tombs, sealed for centuries until their rediscovery in 1917. Marvel at the ornate carvings in a Hispano-Moorish style that frame the crypts of the 16-century royal family. Afterwards, head to the equally ornate Bahia Palace, a 19th-century royal dwelling intended to be the most splendid palace of its time. Gaze at the elaborately-painted ceilings, beautifully-manicured gardens replete with fruit trees, and elaborate stucco patterns adorning almost every surface of the building.

Camel ride was a great experience, seeing new born camel was a treat. Lunch was 6 euros and excellent. Guide knew everybody in the community which was both entertaining and eventually - my one criticism - leading to us hanging around as we waited for the long social interactions to finish. Guide was a lovely guy.

We really enjoyed the tour of Moroccan “Hollywood”! The guide was knowledgeable and interesting. Seeing some of the spots for Game of Thrones and Indiana Jones was really neat! Walking through the city there were interesting drawings and art pieces for sale. We rode a camel which was neat to say! It was really interesting to ask the guide cultural differences and understand them better!

Idrissi and Mourad made for an incredible trip to Fez. Everyone at this company follows Covid safety guidelines, and we felt very safe. The drive to Fez was breathtaking, and totally different than the other parts of the country we had visited. Mourad took us to a nice rest stop for a break along the drive. The ride was comfortable, with reclining seats, A/C, sanitizer, water, etc... In Fez, we met up with our guide, Idrissi, who has been a tour guide in Fez for about 40 years! He has an extremely extensive knowledge of the city of Fez, and gave us the experience of having a friendly, scholarly historian as a guide. We could tell right away that Idrissi is very well respected in Fez, by how locals would greet him so happily through the city. He is very well dressed and polite. We felt lucky to have him as a guide. We started by driving through the new Medina, then got out by the Royal Palace and walked through the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter. He pointed out the various gates and walls of the Medinas, and even knew how old they were. He pointed out which areas of the walls were from different times. We walked to Fes El Bali, the oldest neighborhood in Fez, and thought to be the oldest in-tact Medina in the world. There we got to see both sides of the famous Bab Boujloud gate, which has a completely different view from either side, and an amazing story behind its design. We got to see the outside of the Medersa Bou Inania, the Mosquee Al Qaraouiyine (which was one of the oldest universities in the world), and Medersa Attarine, (due to Covid, we couldn’t go inside). We walked through the Souk District, home of the local craftwork, where Idrissi was an expert at navigating. He also is very knowledgeable about which shops have quality handmade goods, and which shops to avoid. We are vegan, so Idrissi customized the trip for us, and skipped past the meat market and camel leather areas for us, which was very nice of him. He only took us to things that we were interested in seeing, and things that he knew we would appreciate. We got to go into the Nejjarine Museum of cedar wood, which displays artifacts of all of the various ways Moroccans used cedar wood from the Atlas Mountains from the 14th century to now. Idrissi also took us to many amazing lookout points with breathtaking views and photo-ops. Something we really appreciated was how he made sure that we did not feel pressure to buy things, and made sure the shop owners were not pushy. He picked quality places to take us to, especially for lunch. We had a personalized traditional Moroccan meal in an immaculate restored traditional home, with detailed carvings, mosaics, and artwork from floor to ceiling. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was great. We finished our tour with a tour of a ceramic school and workshop, which is a craft especially important to Fez. On the way out, we stopped at the top of a hill with a panoramic view of the Medinas we walked through, and the Merenid Tombs. Then, we had a nice drive home. I highly recommend seeing Fez this way. Idrissi is the best guide you’ll find in Fez!
