Return to a time when the mob ran Galveston and their guests were treated as if they were family. When you crossed the bridge you enter "The Free State of Galveston," where the only rules were mob rules. The stars of the era were world class entertainers brought in to perform in the casinos, including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin. It was a dark and stormy night! So Rob threw in some ghost stories with the tour. I’m a haunted tour guide with Haunted ATX in Austin, Tx, so this was perfect for our group. Hearing about the history of some of the women of Galveston was so fascinating. I would recommend grabbing a cocktail at Daiquiri Time Out while in the area.

We enjoyed our tour with Jeremy. He obviously loves his job and delivers an incredible amount of historical knowledge interlaced with bits of interesting trivia and sprinkled with the whispers of Galveston’s spirits. He is so enthusiastic and passionate that you cannot help but get caught up in his tales as you walk the dark streets of the city. My only suggestion would be a bit of editing as sometimes there was simply too much information to absorb. As a tour guide myself, I have a pitcher of information in my head but only present a cup-full to my tour participants knowing they will only remember the amount in a shot glass. Thank you for a great evening, Jeremy!

We rented e-bikes for two hours and had a great time riding along the seawall and through some of the historic neighborhoods. Seth was very helpful with instructions for the bikes and gave some route recommendations. The bikes were in great condition and easy to ride. We had so much fun and would highly recommend Zipp E-Bikes.
