We had to cancel our excursion on 5/28/2020 because of the pandemic. I have requested a refund as per their policy, but they will not answer my calls or respond to my 4 emails. I know this is a difficult time, but they should at least acknowledge my requests. I have received refunds from all other excursions we had booked. I booked this per TripAdvisor recommendation.

Ingrid is full of historic, trivia, & tidbit facts/information about the entire French Riviera. We hired her for 2 days and she never disappointed us. Learned much about Nice, coastline, Eze, Monaco, Monte Carlo. 3 countries in ONE hour - she made it happened! France, Italy & Monaco. She told us it was the "perfect" time of the year to visit - few tourists & reduced prices, including hotel & shops. 2nd day was spent in Antibes (where Picasso lived 5 months/1946), small family run winery, St. Paul de Vence & more. Picnics both days - breathtaking views of countryside. She brought cloth tablecloths/wine glasses - niceities to add to experience!.Our trip seems surreal now, but we have boundless treasured memories thanks to Ingrid!

Cassis pebbly beaches, calanques, limestone cliffs and driving the spectacular scenic Route des Crêtes along the clifftops to Cap Canaille. Cassis discovery - the magic begins to works its wonders when we leave Marseille climbing up over the steep hillsides & tiny roads taking us to the picturesque fishing village of Cassis. The road bends its way between vineyards & pine woods. The charm of Cassis shows itself as you explore little alleyways & squares edged with colourful fishermen's houses. Cassis marks everyone's mind as they discover the harbour for the first time, the boats & welcoming café terraces. The drive between Marseille and Cassis is a spectacular one. Following the clifftop road - Route des Crêtes to Cap Canaille, towering cliffs reach a height of 394 meters. This winding road connects La Ciotat to Cassis, offering spectacular views and an exceptional panorama over La Ciotat's bay & Ile Verte beyond. This is a review about our experience "so far" with Christopher and Ooh Provence. A number of months ago, as usual, I did extensive research and found a photographer and I contacted him to see about a photo experience while in Marseille. He responded immediately and then told me about his tour company which extends beyond just photography. It was perfect...a guide that could help 2 amateur photographers get some unique shots in a great city plus learn about the history at the same time. I find this is a great way to explore a city. So, of course ,I booked and paid the deposit etc. and we confirmed our date. Then along came Covid 19 and I finally had to cancel .This company offers full refund up to 24 hours in advance of tour and Christopher had no problem with an immediate refund. I will add that is not the case with some hotels etc. I am so impressed with the customer service under very extraordinary circumstances and will definitely book with Ooh Provence in the future when we can return post Covid. Based on my experience so far I am sure we will have a great time touring Marseille and the surrounding area with Christopher. I often find the true test of a good travel company is how they handle unexpected problems and can be flexible. Christopher delivers on this for sure!!

We did an online wine tasting and it was a real pity we couldn’t have a physical one. It was amazing. Yuliya helped to buy and select wine for tasting, she gave a lot of information about how to taste wine, what to look for and how to navigate this complicated French wine landscape. I would definitely love to do this again in real life!

Le Vieux Nice or the Old Nice is the iconic district of the city where the Italian art and architecture, reminiscent of the City’s volatile past, remain still very tangible... In this tour, you’ll discovery the ever-unpredictable history of Nice, a city, by its outer appearance has no or very little equivalent in the rest of France. We booked a 3 hour Segway tour around Nice. Gianni was our very cool guide and re-acquainted us with their Segways. Of course the little Segway dance was completed and we showed our age as we are 60+. But a few minutes and Gianni had us good to go. We went from the Promenade all the way around the waterfront to Villefranche sur Mer and back over the hill through the wealthy suburbs and back to base. We took 30+ minutes to explore the tunnels in the fortress walls in Villefranche sur Mer which were amazing dating back over 400 years and then had a relaxing coffee on and the waterfront. The Segways have 2 speeds, in a crowd and on road which Gianni sets depending on location. Plenty of power and very quick on the road. Gianni was an excellent guide and would highly recommend him and his company he guides for.

She was driving a new luxury Mercedes van and she is a very good driver which is a real performance when you know how it is difficult to drive in France where nobody respects basic driving rules !! so I feel safe the whole tour with Yvonne I was definitalely in very good hands. The day spent too quickly indeed this private tour was so informative and interesting thanks to my nice local guide. Don´t hesitate to book her if you want to spend an unforgetable day and come back safe...

we visited only one Rass winery, and in the review it was announced that we would visit 3 wineries. I do not like this. It made a bad impression on me that when we arrived at the Rass winery we were greeted with the finding that they had already closed for tourists today, but as a compromise they would take the trouble to open for us. The winery was not typical of Provence. There are also better wineries in the area, I expected more ...
