The Singapore cityscape looks like it was ripped from the pages of a science fiction comic book. If you’re hungry for a true Singapore experience, sample the myriad street foods or take a cultural cooking class. The Botanic Gardens and the Gardens By the Bay offer a slice of horticultural heaven, and the observation deck of the Sands SkyPark makes you feel like you’re high above the clouds. The banks and walkways along the Singapore River bustle with local activity.

Linking Marina Bay to Marina Centre, the Helix Bridge, is set to become Singapore’s next landmark. Located beside the Benjamin Sheares Bridge, alongside the vehicular Bayfront Bridge, it was officially opened on 24 April 2010 and is the world’s first curved bridge.
It is a landmark architecture bridge with beautiful views of marina bay sands hotel and waterfront and nice walk link between MBS and Singapore esplanade

We walked along this road a good number of times during our recent stay in Singapore. It is one of the main artery roads of the City, which starts at Elgin Bridge and stretches about 1 and a half kilometres up to the intersection of Neil, Tanjong Pagar and Maxwell Roads. One of the historic features of the road is that the first steam tramway ran the full length of the Road from 1886. The tramway ceased running in 1894, due to falling demand due to the introduction of the rickshaws in 1880. There are so many attractions and places of interest along and off this road, which include Elgin Bridge, the Hindu Sri Mariamman Temple, the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Singapore's Chinatown and Food Street and so much more. All of the important roads in Chinatown are off this road, including, Pagoda Street, Nankin Street, Mosque Street, Temple Street Upper Cross Street. Fascinating Street, steeped in history, culture, religion, food and so much more.
