Spending the New Years holiday in Palermo on a family vacation. So much to see/do, great energy to the city, great restaurants. Highlight doing a street food tour to immerse into the markets which are fantastic, to learn, see, experience a culture that developed over 2000 years into the blend it is today.

Situated in the center of Palermo, near the Cathedral, the Catacomb of Porta d'Ossuna is a big underground cemetery consisting of wide tunnels and galleries, large cubicula (private chapels) and many parietal tombs, dated back to 4th A.D., one of the oldest evidence of Christians in Sicily. Guided tours with the archaeologists of the Coop. ArcheOfficina.

I bought some of my most amazing vintage pieces in this market, which is just fabulous... If you are looking for a great experience in one of the best places in the world (weather, venue and food all truly spectacular) then this place is for you... Can't wait to be there again!
