Not all of which are Tourist orientated, so No Pressure Sellers. Lots of craft stalls with high quality goods at reasonable prices. In winter there are beer shacks set up surrounding the Open Air Ice rink as well as the restaurants

After being leveled when the Nazis left, this whole neighborhood of cobblestone Gothic streets and alleyways, baroque palaces, numerous churches and tiered burghers' houses were masterfully reconstructed to reflect the atmosphere of bygone days.
Old Town is a charming place to go, two square markets and main streets with bars and restaurants, many calm narrow streets where you can stroll for hours without bunch of tourists - especially Brzozowa street, Piwna street, Piesza street.

Most of the visitors to the city of Lodz are more-or-less aware that it is a very good example of the big industrial city that "burst-out" of the small village-like city in the second half of the XIX c. But only few of them have a knowledge, that this is probably one of the last places on the Earth where you can see "classic industrial town" with the factory (unfortunately now in ruins), proprietor's palace and workers dwellings. This is what Ksiezy Mlyn is. For some visitors it may be interesting, that in the second half of the XXth c. factory was still active, and that was the only working factory where pope John Paul II visited the mostly women crew.

Kruszwica is a small town and this Medieval Castle is its only landmark. Still, when driving in the vicinity or passing through, it is worth visiting and climbing the castle tower for the views it offers.
